I feel that this style of Trance is going to fade out. The progressive scene now in its golden days- the porg DJs Are busy and wonted, there are line ups with only progg acts.
but the life line of tech is very weak, why?
It's so rare to see parties with tech trance artists. Some of them converted to full on and there are no new artists that going to rise in the future as far as I can see.
Party with only tech artist is too heavy?
Will this scene one day experience the golden days on current progressive?
I'm asking this because this are 3 stations:

Full on
Energy exculpation – good and massive experience
From this style I have had enough. Maybe ill go back to full on party one day- but don’t know

Progressive
Deep spiritual and sometimes very funky!
This style is where my heart is now.

Tech
Dark and mysteries
Completely different atmosphere

Anyway – I almost forgot the feeling of this atmosphere hope tech trance will get stronger one day.

I guess you have missed the Moksha party with Triac and Fuzzion. Tech Trance is alive.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

Yep, but it was in the nature. I love nature parties but clubs 2. As I said, prog is being played in many clubs in Israel. To see tech trance artist there is rare. Many ppl disregard clubs unfortunately.

Statisticly it does look like TechTrance is a thing from the past, because less and less artists are releasing this style.

But Boshke beats is still on the case me thinks, and very soon the TRIAC album shall be unleashed and in a good and established lable which gives it hope and a chance for good exposure.

As said above when Triac played in the comfort it was very nice,it was quite a hard sound for the Fullonish tel aviv crowd, yet the dancefloor was active and Triac did a good job.Which shows that this music still works and even on a relativley "spoiled" crowd.

i know what you meen nathan.. i also think that progresive is the 'main streem' now in israel. beside that most of the people who going to trance party dont realy care wich type of trance will be there.
for me TechTrance is the only trance.

Well, imo prog is a good way to bring newcomers to the trance scene; it’s rather easier to switch from any kind of music to trance music if it's prog...

What I’m saying is that progressive trance is easier to accept than dark psy fullon after listening to hip-hop all your life.

there's a big difference between what u say and what Nathan said: progressive is definitely not the mainstream genre now in Israel. if there's a trance genre that got into the mainstream, it is the full on, with artists such as astrix or skazi.
mainstream= the most popular (best selling albums, most successful artists, biggest events, ringtones etc.).

besides, i like the tech trance like that- small and without the unnecessary hype around it. i know the tech trance labels and artists won't agree with me, because it's not a financial thinking, but this is why i like it.

i guess progressive never can be a mainstream... just from the meaning of the word itself, and even more when the music speaks up to its definition as progressive.

i think around 30,000 (if not more) ppl in haifa @ faithless live and infected & eraz netz...

thats mainstrsam           if you want to be rich, u`ve got to be a bitch!

All things show bee taken in the right proportion.
my definition of mainstream music: its close to what Matan Said:

But mainstream artist also have school Dairies, Puppets, many clips on TV & they are being chased by paparazzi. Skazi and Infected are mainstream in the Trance scene but not in the music..

Progressive is not mainstream even in the Trance scene. I wish that tech will be not popular as full on but as progg. Weekly parties in clubs, more albums and more artists. Just as progressive now.

Sasha and Digweed brought even more. To my ears their sound is not that far from the Progressive Trance.
It's all about marketing really.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me
