Yuli,
I meant exactly what you said , so don't negate all straight!

when I said "there is GOOD psy and BAD psy , but there is no commercial !"
I meant there is GOOD and BAD ,but anyone should judge it by himself .
the point is to emphasize ,there is no "commercial" psytrance !           what if everyone of us will think positive about peace ?

DJs can fly!

I think that, at least in Brazil, the scene will became more and more commercial... Private parties are already the best ones, and there is always some "influent/popular" producer or DJ on the midia... I donīt know if it is good or bad, I donīt believe that anything can be labeled good or bad.

There are already "famous/popular" artists that lots of people donīt like, claiming that all tracks sound the same and that they make too much tracks... All of you must be thinking of GMS, but curiously artists like Simon Posford are as famous as them, but considered "cult" instead of commercial. Sometimes I even think that donīt like GMS is that are commercial

The main claim against popular/commercial artists is that they all sound the same. Whatīs wrong about sounding the same? You can choose what you listen too. Some people say techno/trance/drumīnībass sound all the same... I think the problem is with the listener, not with the producer.

I do believe that will always be underground psy. I think that the best DJ is that one that plays only what he wants to.
Respect!

...I don't mind not going to Heaven, as long as they've got Coffee in Hell...

MOST DJs should play what the crowd want since Most djs do it just for money ,
artist should play their own style and their own music Mostly..
IMO

its all about the money.
look what happened to Yahel.

And why is that bad? Again - shouldn't artists get money from their music?
I'm not talking about millions of dollars, but at least to earn a good living?
Being commercial doesn't mean you make the music only for the money. And even if you do make it for the money - does that make the music any worse?

Snap out of that "commercial = bad" way of thinking.

ok.
commercial trance in (Imo) another word for nitzhonot. there are some good nitz (old infected { non-commercial}) and there are the bad nitz (barkan).
there are many people who think that trance is only nitz and because of that they hate trance. (i was one of them).

commercial= the taste of the biggest % of people.

what i am traing to say is that if trance will be commercial it will be like house.

infected once canceled project because it was to commercial. u can listen to this here.

Nitz is gone for good.
You want see any more boom tss with super-cheesy melodies using bad sounding synths.
Nitz has evolved into something much better - club trance which is imo very beautiful. It's not psy, but it is very good nonetheless.
Also commercial doesn't have to be MTV music. Take a look at some of the full on dudes - GMS, Astrix, etc. You can call that commercial, right? Astrix' album is probably the best full on album of the year, very beautiful music. 1200 mics is extremely psychedelic. Isn't that what we're looking for? Good music? Who gives a damn if it's commercial or not?
