no...
too much fullon around. no room for styles.
people dont care about spirituality anymore, they want ravemusic. so why keep a lable called spiritzone?
sad to hear that they shut down, but i also think that its better as going on with that sound, so lets keep SZ in in hour hearts (the label with the best mastering-studio imo)

Now I feel glad that I picked up a good bunch of their CD's for 5 Euro each at VooV 
They released some truly amazing stuff over the years, but they just weren't that influential anymore, and therefore I don't mourn the loss as much as with Flying Rhino and Blue Room for instance. A big thanks for all the good releases over the years though!

this is from the actual mushroom magazine:
Sad news from hamburg,spirit zone ,oldest psytrance label in germany is closed.with more then 150 releases from august 1994 till end of june Antaros label was an important influence on the intern. developments in trance.
after the distribution Efa Medien went bankrupt in 2004 it couldnt pay any more bills.
He put strenous effords in keeping sprit zone
alive but as it is too hard to get along with the financial loss and the crisis in music market.
antaro now feels he is not able to continue his work but continue as a dj.....
well R.I.P Spiritzone i for sure had a few of my nicest music from that label...
maybe well see a spiritzone.world soon |

This is indeed a very sad thing.
Another pioneering label is closing down.
Spirit Zone along with Matsuri, FR & Blue Rooom were the labels that got me into this music in the first place.
I wonder where this is all going, since you can't have evolution if you don't know where you are coming from...
Don't hope 2 much 4 something cause u may end up getting it... |

Its very sad see one of the pioneers labels in the Trance Community how is closed.

I'm sorry for that great label but strongest survive! Label with no income is time to close it! Spirit Zone as many other labels when they started the psymusic scene were sure they will lead with time grow to bigger labels, althought we got millions of small labels with almost no income. It is global not only psytrance problem!

so long and thanx for all the goodies  Antaro and crew in Spirit Zone will be remembered for released such a great jewels of the contemporary sound in the translation to the new millenium. i also think that their music got me into chill out and quality trance that actually became the roster of artist in the late nineties (97-2000)they pretty much builded my taste to say what i like to hear form other record labels..... my favorite compilations of all time "Global Psychedelic trance" series.............

yea sad news,, many good old music they did release back on 95,96,94, the etnica old album,space tribe 01 album and many other great stuff, in the last 2 years i didnt hear so much good tuns from them but still spirit zone will be good old memory for me like the blue room ...

for sure some of my all time favorites were old spirit zone releases for me.... but antaro and company are sitll very active with the Voov experience, which was a great time this year by the way. so not really dead I dont think, just morphed into something different. |

i agree totally.
this is not psy trance!!
dont forget trance is a music for the mind,for the body is others styles(like house music)
now ''psy-trance'' become music strictly for the body
So no RIP for Spirit Zone.i and many others have Zone releases and for sure the Spirit will be ALIVE |

Yes,
Super-Sad news for shure since a lot time Spirit Zone is one of the best labels who release just Quality Music, but im sure Antaro will be strike soon with another project wich will be involved with the trance but that just the time will be answer to ous.
