So..

When will the trance culture enter a new era? When will the first "best of" album see its dawn?

I bet it will happen soon, very soon, if not this year, then the next one.

What's your guess?

he means a greatest hits album.

Juno Reactor just released one.
I'm sure that Mark Allen-Tim Healey= Quirk can release one now that they seem to have moved on.

GMS can release a box set by now.           Both teams played hard

When you saying the best of - do you mean sold the most - or ... maybe appreciated the most although these two things might go together also....

do you get the picture..

you know it's like one more step closer to commercialism..

Dj Antaro vs XDream - Astrix in the Scy of GMS ( Atomic Skazi Remix)???????

LOL...

A little paradox: someone may think it's really sad that our scene is making "more commercial stuff", like the "best of" albums, subject of this thread. But if labels don't sell, they die. And with them, our change to listen to new songs.

I don't think "best of" albums are really the best of the artist (for example the GMS album), but it's a tool to hook more people into the scene. And help people know the labels and the labels get more money. I know, it's more commercial, and maybe it's only made to sell. But it have it's good side.
Or I'm wrong?
Respect!
