I think that israeli trance is no longer just one style - as it was proven in this year (2000)!
I mean - there's no way I can equalize Classical Mushroom with Presence or Skazi's album etc.
Ppl trying to find the best album of the year by their own feelings - the album that makes them most feel good - that's the best album for them. So don't start with: this album was the best , no the other one was better bla bla bla :))
In my opinion Classical Mushroom was really impressive - and so was Presence but in another way. So what I"m trying to say: 'There wasn't a best album in the year 2000'. I"m not saying there won't be ever - but this year just too many styles and comercial and etc.
guess you got my point here :)

Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom is the best album for 2000 and one of the all time best album.
this year we also had 'the delta', double dragon', 'gms vs systembusters' and more so its not bad year for trance i think. |

my favorite album this year was skazi -aniaml
real aggressive stuff.
i didnt like the classical mushroom at all and the 1st infected is much better.
tzachi how can u say on skazi music that its empty.
maybe u like more melodic tarnce.
blt album was excellent
but ihave never heard something this year that could touch skazi's power.
altough skazi's album is not for many listening times cause afte r10 times its stary boring me unlike blt |

I think this years best cd was Eyal Barkan's - Mr Club Trance,great new ideas and work from a great artist.Yahel's -Waves of sound was also something very special and Full On 5 was also very nice. |

best israeli album of 2000 was sandman - psycho toons, itzik levi is the best israeli trance producer. and from the world, i think hmmmm, the healer (-Wonderground) was an amazing album. also the double dragon (-Continuum) was awesome. |
