The comment wasn't made to you, since you are (as you say) one that DOES. I only used it as example for the said things, I apologise if I got it wrong.

And secondly, the comment wasn't about any particular scene, but rather about the general attitude of people who like to critisize, bitch and complain about productions that people try to make, and forget that this is leisure activity and not compulsory - nobody forced anyone to attend these gathering (specially when you know what type of performances will be there).
Its like comming to a Brittney Spears concert and then complaining about the 12-13 years old crowd...

Channel - thanx for the commentary about the chill set. These days I don't deal in trance anymore, and concentrate totally on the chill-division. I hope to return someday to C.hagen and perform there again.

much luv,
A

I hope you do ... And you are very right, people bitch but don't act... That why i try to act...           "Love is a way of life"

this years on the 1st of may sucked..really bad..the music was crappy...there where too many people who where there only because they where drunk and wanted to say that say they have been too the trance stage...but that is what you can expect theres nothing new there.

The party scene in copenhagen has gone baaaad for many years now i think but that its what you can expect from all the publicity that the orginazors do on different websites and i dont think its going to change

but has you can see now a lot of the parties at bryggen has not done good in a while so there will not be this huge expensive parties there anymore every weekend we can only hope that that will leave room for some new and better parties i would throw parties myself but i simply dont have the money

but yes go for the undergoundmovment here in copenhagen which has quite a few parties last year which was fantastic or go to the scene in aarhus

peace see you in the forest people:)

Thats not nice using my name in this thread..............and btw a party is what you make of it. And as a side note i can tell you that we always thrown parties for the music and not for the money.....maybe thats why 9/10 times we actually loose money.           Man is the Cruelest Animal!!!!!

I totally agree. It has been a long time since I did a party in Copenhagen. Why? Especially because of the crowd.

I remember Conzzept 2003 on Halvandet where a rather buff steroid-jerk totally ruined my party. It was obvious that he wasn't there for the music - he constantly bumped into people on purpose, took peoples drinks and threw them etc. That's 2 years ago and I have only gone to one other event in Copenhagen since then.

Don't get me wrong - all the people I know from Copenhagen are great! It's just sad that it only takes one to destroy a whole party... And yes, it isn't much better here in Jutland.

One thing: See you in the forest this summer, mates.

I live in Malmö and I've been to "psyparties" in Copenhagen about 10 times in my life. Nowadays it happens quite seldom and the reasons for this is that my economy doesn't allow it but also what the green channel says. Okay, I'm not a hardcore hippie myself but I admire the lifestyle in many ways and I share many of the beliefs. So what I don't appreciate when I've been to places like Bryggen, Amager Bio and Pumpehuset is that the vibe has been really bad. I've seen fights and aggressive people but that's exactly what I want to stay away from. That's why I don't go to "normal" places more often. The commercial arrangements in Copenhagen just don't offer me what I expect from a psyparty. It seems meaningless to dance and smile in a party where your neighbour might hit you if I by accident touches him/(her).

The green channel - I really support your idea about organising the "real" people and arrange underground parties where everyone shares the love for the music and respect eachother. This sounds like a party I'd much rather attend. GO FOR IT MAN!

As you already know the name of the topic is “that’s it”. The reason I have called this topic that’s it, is because I will not attain another commercial-trance party here in Copenhagen ever again. And I have only been to one-two parties since my festival-tour last summer.

The reasons:

The atmosphere is evil, people using the wrong drugs, girls down to the age of 13-14, it looks more like a drug marked then a party, no hippies, no freaks, only these custom-made-Brian-druggy-kind-of-people, no variation and on top of it all semi-boring-music…

Respect!
In our country the situation is similar
That is why i gave up parting till summer fests.
I thought that it happens only in RU

It's like that everywhere, when a scene like ours becomes too large in some countries, it attracts the wrong kind of people...           "Love is a way of life"
