Hello.

I am very sure there are people here who like tennis as much as i do, be it the hard hitting ATP tour OR HOT skimpy WTA

lets just start a decent introduction to your favorite tennis player in both forms of genders and lets discuss the Gland slams unfolding this year. WIMBLEDON is on.

My favorite player in MEN is Rafael Nadal and in WOMAN'S game it was Justine Henin not anymore since she retired. although i think Ana Ivanovic is hot !!

There are 4 grand slams in the order of schedule:-

Australian Open (Melbourne)
French Open (Roland Garros, Paris)
Wimbledon (England)
US Open (New York).

So guys Favorite players and Wimbledon predictions ??

Thanks for openning the topic LSD-25.
For sure I'll be around pretty often.

I've played tennis for the past 15 years.
So you can imagine how crazy about it I am.

As for Wimbledon, the final will definetly be between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
If any of those don't make it, then the world is about to end...

And this time I think Nadal has the higher chances after the awesome victory in the Roland Garros final.
Also cause Federer had to play 5 sets on last year's final.

But still, looking foward to the game.
It will be killargh for sure!!

C ya around!

Btw, my favorite player today is Novak Djokovic.
He's highly taletend and has a lot of carisma with the crowd.

As for the women (mostly for their looks), Ivanovic, Hantuchova, Dementieva and Vaidisova are my fav ones.
Not to mention Sharapova, of course.

But I must agree that Justine Henin will be missed imho...

Wow Demetieva is HOTTT i just fee like doing things to her . speaking of hot, I used to like Jelena Dokic and Mariana Lucic back in the days both have reached Wimbledon Semi-Finals but since then their game has dropped...and not to mention both had HUGE ***** excuse me. hehe

Not a FAN of Sharapova though, i feel i can blow her out of the court with one gush of wind.

I do think Novak Djokovic has an outside chance to win Wimbledon this year, it's very difficult to predict right now maybe after 3rd round things will be clear for me to put money on someone.

@Peyote >> Played Tennis for 15 years eh ? what were you a clay courter ? Very few brazilians i have seen in tennis most notable was gustavo kuerten..he was a gem on clay.

Cheers

Clay is very popular in Brazil.
Personaly, I reather hard courts.
It's faster and the ball kicks where it kicks, if you know what I mean.

And as for Gustavo Kuerten, he is for sure on the top 5 players of the decade.
For sure!!

Djokovic was eliminated by Marat Safin, who was my favorite player like 3 years ago.
Only hits as hard as he can. Love that type of play.

The gorgeous Ivanovic had lots of trouble to pass to 3rd round.

Ahh yeah i saw that match, some major hitting by safin he sure has a HUGE forehand..and is a very good player..only if he controls his emotions on court...and ofcourse a former 2 time grand slam champion.

No other issue as yet for the seeds.

Rafa is gonna win.

On their 1st match in Wimbledon, Rafa got 1 set.
On the 2nd, 2.

Now it's their 3rd one... So you can imagine the rest.

Off to see the game.

Regards!

I adore Federer's humility, humanity and down-to-earthness, thus I would have loved him to win Wimbledon for a 6th time in a row. For me, he's without any doubt the greatest sportsman alive, not only for his skills, but also for his charisma and personality. My hopes are high for the Olympic Tennis Challenges.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!
