Actually, i feel like X-Calibur could have been far more better without the sample, at least less sample.
I just cannot stand it, for me it ruined the track, thou i am mad about its groove and base-line.

Well, i personally love the sample, tho it makes the trak a little more clubby than some ppl would have liked it. :-)

i agree about the sample. the repetition of x-calibur is cool, but the bit in the middle is totally cheesy and ruins the track for me too. without the cheesy sample, it would be a killer track, like a poor man's "hi-fi stomp session". (did that inspire this track, guys?)
the tegma team have done fantastic stuff in a very short period of time, but it's nowhere in the son kite league yet. but with the speed they are improving, and with the production getting better with each release, i very much look forward to their future releases. Good luck! |

Nikkimou yes I will come to Denmark when we get a good place to play at:-) To russ, no we didnt get inspiration from hifistomper, X-Calibur was done 2-3 months before the son kite album came out.. And it actually got signed 1 hour after we made it hehe:-)
