this is a nice topic !!!
I will share my thoughts with you, hoping that I will not bore you...you are very correct to what you say..there are many people in Greece making music but usually they are "by themselves" and quite isolated besides 2-3 friends of theirs..therefore knowledge can not be shared and combined.....it is a clear waste....
- teamwork is much different than "klikes"...
this happens because "teamwork" is very uncommon in Greece in general, not only in making music....it is typical for Greeks to fight one another beyond amila- very rarely Greek people are happy with the success of their fellow countrymen, there are very critical of other Greeks while on the contrast, the way they treat foreigners is characterised by a inferiotiry syndrome, with deep sociological roots in history.
Teamwork is a very healthy state of working, it is a higher state of cooperation and can produce much better results - but it requires good nature from ALL people involved, a certain standard of mental & cultural level and of course, unselfishness...

Although as a nation we were from the very first ones that talked about "eugenis amila"-and we should have learned lots about it-the time has shown that we are from the last ones that remember anything about it!
Nice topic Nectarios,
would be interesting to hear the opinion of some greek producers about that!!

hahaha...good luck kalpax!!...judging from your dream sudio- I assume you will forget the full-on stuff and concentrate on pornodelic music !! ; )
-something I forgot to mention about teamwork- essential ingredients to achieve teamwork are trust + honesty ...not often Greek people trust one another and they hide things from one another and inevitably the "cooperation" results are poor...
....on the other hand they show blind trust to foreigners e.g. they have no problem paying to foreign artists 3,000 euros for a dj set with a mixed cd or a 4,500 euros for a "live" set with a simple cd playing.....but they will be the first ones to jump on a Greek dj and criticise him, who is playing for 300 Euros...quite pathetic if you ask me...

Greeks are like that when I was working as an electronics technician the older technicians where not revealing me the secrets and technics and when I was watching to see what they were doing they were finding excuses to put me to do something else.
Same aplies into our scene but we must understand that not everybody has the patience as well as the gift of communication and passing knowledge.

well, good on u nectarios to make a post on my thoughts and share this with others. this subject has been bothering me for a while now and l have tried to share it with friends in greece. brasil is a good example to us as well as s. africa. Israel has always been more advance because of the major traveller scene there.
once somebody has given me the answer to this.
Look back in our history thousands of years ago and u will see that we were always fighting between states and groups. this is greece for u.. but we can try to change it..
unite is the message and let's create the MASSIVE Greek Mafia, l'm dreaming of for years now.
Next summer l'm bringing the etnicanet team in greece where we will collaborate with greek promoters and have many greek djs for a blasting memorable electronic festival... stay tuned

hey some nice wise words here but i will reffer to an incident which happened to me couple of months ago:
i was searching for an email in japan and i contact one person who was already in contact with the guy who owned the email.
this guy not only had helped me with the email i was searching but here now speaks for cooperation between people

We never asked anything from you...you asked from us...cooperation is a thing that works both ways...the only thing we ever got from you was threats...from putting Wizzy Noise trax as MP3s on the net so you will harm our label to even sending us the Greek taxation office to us and Wizzy Noise (roufianos)....so you do not have the right to speak....don't start a war...
