Around 12:30 or so... As soon as they came in, I knew it was over because you could smell the greens easily. The crowd was just starting to pile in too. *sigh*  Looking forward to the next one.

I was walking around enjoying the beautiful decco (nice paintings!) and was just starting to get into my trance when the 'effin PoPo came in and started running around with flashlights and shit. They were going around for quite a while before the shut the party down so they must have had to look pretty hard to find something. And I didnt smell any of these greens that g0at is refferring to, got no clue what he's talking about. Seems like the NYPD just being pricks as usual. The bastards wouldnt even let us stand around outside the club they were all telling us to disperse and that we were obstructing the sidewalk even though there was clearly noone else using the sidewalk for us to be obstructing the path of.

Sad sad sad. I'm always bummed when i hear about things like this. Regardless i didn't attend the party, i am really sorry about what happened.
The police were probably feeling bored and they thought: oh, let's go and SPOIL somebody's party tonight!

I was going to go, but ended up staying in to finish some homework. I'm sorry about what happened. Thanks for always giving us something to look forward to TDC. We can't wait for the next one. |

so sad to see the party end so soon, the people just started to show up, and the cops decide to show up as well. I didnt think anything was going to happen but they shut it down. SO stupid, because of alcohol and MJ? first off the reason they got pissed that theres no liquer liceness is because the government is not making money. and MJ , i bet if the cops found any they smoked it. Anyways the party was good whle it lasted. cant wait for the next TDC party. |

Not having a liquor license is enough to shut down a party at a club if it's serving/selling liquor. It's a HUGE violation, afaik, big big fines. I think the way to get around it is making it into a private, invite-only affair.
