tatsu records sad news,closing the label

Big lost! but hopefully a big begining too.
The sound of tatsu is one of the cleanest and most well produced trance sounds in the scene. With such releases as Oryx - on the run, va- pure bliss, and va - ground Grooves.
I am going to use this opertunity to stock up on some of these prints before they are gone for ever.
again, sad news as tatsu always kept the level very high.
will miss it :}

sorry to jump in so late... i dont come in here often so when i get the chance I have to say my piece...
I think EYB has made a very good point. There ARE soooooo many labels, and lets face it, most of them release stuff which is pretty similar to some other label... there's no real innovation going on, just people getting some trax together and saying well, we can release this.
So... my point is that good labels like Tatsu end up closing because their sales are affected by the market being flooded. If there were less labels and less releases, but more quality, each label would get a few more sales and be able to survive.
The freaky thing is, back when our releases were maybe not so awesome, we were selling 3x as much as we are now... now our stuff is sooo much better, we're struggling to survive. And it wont be long before we shut down too, unless thigs start to improve
There's no surpise ther's so much copying and downloading... who the f**k can afford to go and buy every CD? I can't even keep up with the amount of releases going on as a DJ... as a customer I buy maybe 1 of 50 Cds released because they're the only ones diferent and good enough to spend money on
And let me tell you... I'm a very stubborn person.. I've been hangin on, refusing to give up for many years, so if I give up it means the music industry is really headed for a crash!
..basically we should all not have to make money from this, do it for love and be happy and live in peace and harmony... but the way the world is constructed these days that dream is dissapearing fast.....

How can you say that man? .. Taste is taste, yes. But Tatsu Recors was a Record Company that puplished true trippy tracks that served it's duty to give us slow psychedelic trance music that creates another world while infected by shroom, lsd ... And in my opinion, thats something I can respect as our scene is a psychedleic scene. Supposed to anyway. And look at others.. (I dont want to give names) puplish bad commercialized music to the crowd. Even if I would have liked Tatsu's music or not, is irrelevant. I would still be sad..
