This might come as a shock for some of our progressive followers. Spiral Trax International has just signed the new Talamasca album.
Talamasca hardly needs any further presentation. DJ Lestat is one of the world's top producers of good old psychedelic trance. Some purists might say that we lost it, but here at the Spiral Trax HQ we like to think that good quality music is good music whatever style it is, and "Musica Divinorum" is definitely one of the best psychedelic trance albums to be released in a long time. Just take a listen to "Magnetic Fields" on the a-side of this single, it moves away from the normal full-on Talamasca sound. A nice groovy bass line keeps the track building nicely until it peaks with a classic 303 riff right at the end. "Vacation Time" on the flip side is a massive morning track in typical Talamasca style. |
