Talamasca - Musica Divinorum, The Review !!!

Well,being a talamasca lover myself,I wasnt very impressed by the new album.What I see is a change of direction of Cedric to even emotional stuff.The old school,time simulation and Little by little (in the SST new comp) sound a bit like Yahel(who I like alot)!It is not the music I m used from this guy,it is not his style-not even from the period from1998 and before..
I liked the 5 first trax of the album(more powerful-Insanity is a KILLER-Musica divinorum hypnotic tribal).
I have to go with Psionic in this one.I think tribalistic is one of Lestat s best tracks-Full on with a fresh melodic sound.We need more of that.
I also think that he souldnt release trax so often(over 20 trax for 2001) or he will have the same destiny with Infected mushroom-people will be bored with his music and think him as not good any more.
The reason I m saying all this is that I really love his music and not because I m against it.Cedric has done a long way to become one of the top names in the scene. |

well...
i look at this album as a whole party...
we begin with kicking night stuff,
then going into more melodic stuff..
with time simulation a perfect morning track (for the sunrise... ;))
then we finish with more mellow ambiant track...
this is whole party in one album.
if you want full on kicking tracks,
he keeps it for the compilations...
imo.

ohhhhhhhh VERY OLD hehe
I remember I was listening to this cd in the minute I got it at the late hours of the day..
I really loved it at this time.. now its just a memory 
but nice one indeed

it had it´s time..i remenber when i 1st heard this cd, i was going to my 1st festival ever BOOM 2002..i really enjoyed old skool track, and i had the chance to hear talamsca live act, and i flyed with that particular music..ah..the days where when we are unconsciousness
