i bet a 101 would not wow you that much??to me its over hyped cause guys like posford use it . it s great but give me a euro rack modular anyday ,after it s just my view...i love 101 sound but these day not that much intrested into it but great to have a plug that close
didn t check these yet but there is example vs the real deal there

i was liseting second demo on my macbook.. really hear the 101 classic sound ,feel good 
sequencer i foudnd it great, also the phase retriger for goa bass |

hardware attack/decay is sometimes punchier it seems ,clickier ... though it depends the samples..
from the sample its maybe as close as a xox is to a 303.. all 101 lover gonna be happy
like the hardware some settings depending how its dialed can influence the sound and the extra stuff too , it s not complex but still need good use to get the best out of it, don t judge too fast |

i have not tried the vst yet mate and on the web site it says
"TAL-BassLine-101 is a monophonic bass synthesizer with a classic analogue sound."
but anyway, cool

GOOD news TAl lovers, OSC fm AND FILTER fm are on the cards
this has got to be the best bass synth around for sure,
not a single week spot. pads leadss, percs oh and a bit of bass thrown in for measure and its a steal at this price

have played a little with this now.
the filter and overall sound are great indeed.
and for simple basses its, well, simple. sometimes i fiddle a LOT on vsts to find a sweet spot for a simple sound but with this its a matter of seconds to adjust and feel happy with it.
really recommended bread and butter bass and lead synth!

nope right now they work on tal bassline 101 aax and filter fm (sound great it seems) and no idea what will come next |

there are several 303 emulations out there (i like phoscyon for example) that do the job in a modern and busy mix.
its not like having an original or a xoxbox, i agree, but its fine for most jobs to be honest. they better make the 101 a real feature beast, maybe add more modulations or another layer or whatnot imho

yeah but the 101 should stick a simple sytnh we get satisfaction fast i think, it s part of the charm of it. a 303 with a few extra feature would be dope too, i think tal could get it at least as good as a xox but tbh i dont care much..what ever synth will come next it will be probably great..personanly even his old synths i like them very much,to me these can soound a bit rawer than lot of stuff out there |
