420 is the marijuana code in the US and so when its 4:20 ppl are blazing it up everywhere. 4/20 means its an all day smokefest |

to be more percise, 4 20 is a police code in the US for smoking pot in progress. from this term, people decided that once the clock reached 4:20 (16:20), all would smoke pot, all around the world. hence the smoke fest ;-) |

the true origin of 420.... for years I had been fooled... there is no such police code in southern california where it had been published first in a High Times around 1990-1991... I have religously been a 420-ist since then... anyhow. for those who are interested...

however , the true 4:20 is at 4:20 PT (Pacific Time Zone) and us 'religous' smokers smoke on April 21 at 2:20 a.m with the rest of the world...

Damn so much politics. hope you guys in LA have fun. wish i could be there. GOOD LUCK five star. Help support there parties, if you guys dont go to their parties(also if you dont pay) your gonna have no more parties. This is straight info. from the organizers. have FUN!!! |

Sadly I think you are right. To bring the best in the world cost money, and if not enough show support, to simply cover the expenses, than this dream of a trance L.A. won't last too long. |

Five Star has been throwing great parties. Infected Mushroom, XDream and Alien Project are a few of the kickass parties we've had in L.A. thanks to Five Star. The parties are always high energy and the music..well..the music just speaks for itself. Now if only Skazi, Talamasca or Hallucinogen would find their way to L.A......We'll be waiting. In the meantime, count me in on 4/20!!
