How is it possible that we who are so REALY close to each and other that we could almost swim over, have SO SO SO SO GREATLY diffrent music styles? Anybody got any Ideas?

Maybe it's something in the water

But then again, you have crazy full-on full-power cannibal-style music in your country....and you also have kick-ass progressive sounds (the original scando sound)....so not only changing countries u get different stuff, but also changing regions within one country...

Well i live in the south of sweden, malmoe. The home of digital super trance and up in the middle/north we got sienis and hux flux so regions may be a soultion for categorizing them but then again WHY? cus the style is VERY Diffrent

wasn't ulf saying something about Kluster's city being the heavy metal capitol of Sweden?

Cities/Regions definetly influence artists within look at the Detroit Techno, Seattle Grunge, Trance out of the French city of Reims (Yumade, Paps, Biotonic), I could go on and on.

I don't think the distance between cities really matters, every place with a little bit of culture has its own personal scene going that is unique stricly there, until the people move on to something better

I think that finns and swedes are totaly different in nature, and so does their perception of psy music.

look, swedes understand some danish, danes can understand some swedish, but somehow nobody understands the finns.

No you are right thats why i have my opinion about finish trance after listening to:

Poly61, Squaremeat, Texas Faggot, Yjalka, Eraser, and a few more i think.


But hey give me some info and iŽll look at the others too, and maybe we could change my opinion eyy?

for the moment Danish minimal is my favorite, i like it a lot .
a lot of tallented artists are out there .
