what, you don't like crispy? we aspire to cripsy. ;-)
and brotha, i'm a bass head too....

i'm not a big fan of high pass on bass instruments either, but neither am I a big fan of basslines so monotone and low that any semblence of dynamics or energetic bass punching/throbbing is lost in a rumble.... ;-) a stereotype of course, but sometimes accurate... and yeah, full on sucks, but so does darkpsy.

trance pretty much sucks.... indoors too sonically dense music to appreciate indoors.... would much rather hear some techno indoors. trance, outdoors, lets go.

as far as the woofers that night, there's no telling! those mackie powered speakers were thrown together at the last minute, and due to changes with the venue, we had no driverack to process anything! so sorry everyone about the bright mackie horns, all i could do was keep pulling down the highs on the DJ mixer.

too bad we didn't get tommy's JBL SRX system for this show, i know we can produce some 30hz with that system

im confused as to whether or not it seems like im complaining about the sound hehe im not. youre right about full on and dark ive had a hard time listening to anything i can somewhat accurately classify lately. as for indoors i agree there as well. i saw gil indoors in NYC and the glass shelves at the bar shattered from the vibrations so you can imagine what the acoustics must have been like. I have had some really amazing experiences at gil events yet at the indoor one i felt an invisible forcfield keeping me from acting out in any way. Everything felt and sounded trapped. I imagine the acoustics at any indoor party being visually alot like shaking the hell out of a large bucket of water then watching the way the water interacts with itself. its like a choppy lake instead of a smooth wave. but anyways. had fun ...untill next time friends.

this gathering was fantastic! good vibes, great music, ecsatic dance! ooh, and raw cacao for a 4 am pick me up.. nice. thanks for the chai and love, ATL PSY. Facehead, loved the birdies just as the dinosaurs were scratching their backs on the trunks of trees and the earth rumbled with their collective insatiable itch. Oso's set was chunky, groovy and wild. Chakra-spinning, full power! Danced and tranced more than I ever have at an indoor party. Chillout was delicious and grimy. Thanks everyOne.

LalalaLove you!

Yes...i only heard a few tracks from Oso, and he definately was on point. Some great music for late night journeys through the swamp. Chunky and psychedelic for sure!

and FaceHead got the crowd worked up into a frenzy. Your music has come such a long way from when i first heard you at one of the Touch Samadhi reunions several years back. Thanks again for coming and sharing your music and vibe with us!           http://soundcloud.com/t-o-u-c-h-samadhi/sets/moksa/

...oh
and Richard Devine was fantastic.
although not psytrance, it was a perfect fit in the chill/experimental room. His music is sooo amazing and we are lucky to have him as an atlanta local. He definately wants to play for us again!           http://soundcloud.com/t-o-u-c-h-samadhi/sets/moksa/
