The Sunday Sessions is a new series of concept CD´s exploring the loungier, groovier side of electronic music. It defies, yet fuses, genres and will appeal to a broad range of music lovers. The release will be a tribute to the Outback Eclipse Festival, Australias greatest outdoor electronic experience. It is also to celebrate one year of the most explosive progressive energy bursting out at the Glow Bar each Sunday afternoon/ evening. The vibe of the Sunday Sessions is deep and funky, and the crowd is always open for the new musical grooves the DJs and promoters explore. The beats that are danced to on these Sundays sees a massive merging of scenes and genres - progressive psy. house, techno and nu-school breaks. All in intimate surroundings, water and oil lamps and VJs turn the ceiling into a stargate to the otherworld. Innovative artists set up installations and decorations to complete the all-round Sunday experience. CDs will be contained in a case with cover and booklet designs from Slinky Desines (Melbourne/ Australia). Artists appearing are both established international/ Australian artists and young undiscovered Aussie talent. The Outback Eclipse Festival CD launched Exotic NAtive as a label supporting the most innovative electronic music from both Australia and abroad. The Sunday Sessions CD is a quality second release, with Exotic Native and it´s stable of producers once again setting the standard, this time on the indoor side of the party scene. This CD is perfect to prepare for a big night out on the town, for playing at a party, or for chilling out the day after. It shows the versatility of many producers allowing them toplace down on digital format there rarest grooves and unheard loops.

Looks like a very fine release.

Especially interesting with new tracks from Sensient and Antix (A teaser for their upcomming album )

I don't know much about FREq, but they had a really, really nice track called "Wasp" on the "Outback Eclipse" compilation - I hope this one is just as good.

The Phony Orphants track was one of the highlights from their album in my opinion.           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

This is excellent- my review soon. Zombie, you will drool heavilly on this one, so carry a towel once you get it.

BTW, the order of the tracks on my (original) copy is quite different.           ---------------------------------------------
"Be the change you want to see in the world!"
M.K. Gandhi

"There is only one corner of the universe you can be certain of improving, and that's your own self."
Aldous Huxley

shahar, no more towels at my flat, what to do ??

its a koolest compilation that possible, i love it, simple as that. realy fresh compositions and moods, excellent sound.

once i got it i just play it in repeat mode, never can get enough.
what i like the most is that with realy excellent music here is excelent variety in trax, moody-jumpy-outdoor-indoor-dark-light, all with amazing musical point.

my fav. are - 3 (realy deep music, should be great for liquid and outdoor and as well for club), 7 (becoze its a right feeling for human. if we all were feeling this way nothing bad was happen in the world), 8 (this is monster, straight to my set), 9 (funkiest morning music, trance never was so kool), 10 (sexiest music for any dancefloor, i love it), 11 (moody, smoothy groover for after party, amazing).           Believe your soul !
