G'day.

"The SCS project is back again in 2008. After a string of recent releases on Blue Tunes, Neurobiotics, a Joyce Mercedes release, and even featuring on John 00 Flemings Ministry of Sound Mix CD, Drew Davidson has put together a double track EP for digital release, containing two very different and original pieces. SCS - Rush Hour [Wombat Edit] is a sub-filled, heavily swung, grooving monster with an endless positive vibe. SCS - Snake Shake is a techy track that contains multiple sections; from darker, driving, rolling bass sections to groovy, synth laden sectors with stacks of dancefloor potential. These tracks have been extensively tested and approved by Iboga HQ - including DJ Emok and DJ Banel - at festivals and clubs the world over."

Tracklist:

SCS - Snake Shake

Kick Me Shake Me is realy great tune with fat bassline (how i hate this word ;p)
From the other hand Snake Shake is terrible. Stinks electro influences all way through...

Simply a wonderful and soulful tune, neatly composed. Ofcourse those who love their basslines "killer" won't know howo to appreciate this, as they say, this tune is "overqualified" to satisfy those that bassline is the main creteria for a "good track" in their book           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Yuli, could you be so kind and dont tell me what i like and what i do not ?
You dont know me, and for sure not my taste, so please shut up.

Is that so hard to face the truth not every one must like what is suposed to be an "awesome" tune... ?

You simply were so humble and nice and gentle and not insulting at all with your opinion so I couldn't resist.. Sorry

Truth is very individual thing actually unless you represent "god". And everyone entitled to have an opinion therefore! So it's great that you said what you like and dislike, just every thing can be said in right and wrong ways. Since I found nothing stinking in the song u mentioned as disgusting, I assumed that you are the typical brainless bassline addict..

If I am mistaken I am sorry but it definitely looked like           A man with a "master plan" is often a woman

Nice release! I really dig Rush Hour with its dynamic bassline changes and niiiiice minimalistic white-noisish loops! So interesting to listen! Snake shake is very good too, again that bassline shifting through the track which I really like... Go SCS!           VA - Momentum vol.1 - Compiled by PhaseTech

Ill take it as straight as possible. All i hate is modern sound of progressive psytrance. So many tracks and releases release these days annoys me with their sound. I just cand stand electrohouse inluences in psytrance. This is main reason why i dont apreciate the sound of "Snake Shake". Nothing else, nothing more.

Tribal Vision is one of the labels which changed their direction for 360 deegres in my opinion.
They were an awesome progressive psytrance label in their early days, now they just follow the global trends. I dont like this path.

360 degrees would mean that they haven't changed a bit.           www.ektoplazm.com/2011/panta-deus - download for free Psytrance.pl's 10th anniversary compilation featuring 100% Polish psy-music (goa, prog, dark, full-on, chillout): Artha, Sundial Aeon and many more

imho Drew did indeed make a change in his sound, but it shows mostly in a bpm lowdown than in musical style.

His new stuff, while being slower,is still psychedelic and innovative just as his back catalogue.

Ok, so dont listen to it and dont spam this topic.

I agree with Ace, very very innovative as always, SCS is one of a kind project!

Btw, i think that Tribal Vision is not following global trends, they are setting them           VA - Momentum vol.1 - Compiled by PhaseTech
