A bunch of people did, dont take my word for it, ask around
Even if this is BS(which it isin't, I have no reason not to trust the people who told me this, and they had no reason to lie), they definatly robbed one person, and fucked with many others(a few people I know got kicked out for no apparent reason while they were smoking outside)

is it possible to have an event and hire your own security? or do clubs insist on having their security present? I guess this probably varies from club to club?

yes - depends on the venue... synthetics sadhus used to hire their own security.... then again they did it when they threw parties in Cinenma world studios and it was basically a giant hangar.

one time i was "banned" from the bathroom because i tried to fill up my water bottle there.

i think a lot of clubs "outsource" their security to private firms, so it might be possible to bring in your own crew. |

yes, security was THE worst.
While searching thru my bag for the second time after going out for a cig, Mr. Long Hand Security Gorilla had the nerve of groping me, he virtually put his hands around my body/ass in a matter of a second. Like wtf? For pete's sake, I'm a girl, and that is sooo like illegal! 
The party was really nice though, the music was super, beautiful deco by Severyn and I had a great time. Couldn't make it to the afterparty under the bridge cuz we were dead tired, but I hear it was awesome too.
A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory. |
