I always had a great time outdoor, the spot might still be green 
and since I'm listening to Penta's CD every day I wanna see him again
plus all the DJ's, the crowd and the vibezzzz

Um, from what I've heard Johan Krafft (Alternate Vision, Logic Bomb) will indeed be there -- Jonas Pettersson isn't travelling these days, so that's the best you're going to get as far as a Logic Bomb live act. And Logic Bomb *is* listed on the front of the flyer in big letters, so I'm assuming everything is still on.
The "fake bookings" had to do with people booking Z-Man (Jonaz Bergvall, ex-Logic Bomb) as Logic Bomb -- totally unconnected with this party...

this is going to be huge. a great collaboration by some legendary promoters. So many reasons to celebrate: the solstice, nature, music, community, did i say music?!?!? Also if there are enough people attending- the Burning Man Trance Village will receive a big chunk of the proceeds!!!!! So bring all your friends and go crazy with us.
as for Fusion 03, i haven't heard anything about it.

None of the headliners showed up. Lame illness excuse for Logic Bomb. And no explanation for Penta's absense. This sucks. |

yes penta didnt show up and all of us are very dissapointed...that wasnt a fault of the organziers they are disaapointed too....rather than me spreading gossip here ask penta why he didnt come hes on this forum you can search and send him a private mail...
as for logic bomb he cancelled all his us gigs due to appendicitits...thats unfortuante but really no one can be blamed...
as for me i love dark twisted night music and this [party was much on the lighter side but you know what it was beautiful gathering in nature with the community...amazing sound beautiful setup....believe me im the first one to complain when thigns arent right and give a hard time but this was effort they tried to make a beautiful party and i belive ultimately they succeeded...
its too bad some things went wrong but you knwo what throwing outdoor parties is hard..i mean when we did gil a month a go the soundsystem didnt show up..at all...a back up system came by morning but after motnhs of planning things happen that you just can forsee..we had used these sound guys for years and they always showed up...point is you make the best of it..we are a community....this isnt rock n roll....

If you noticed, I was not blaming organizers for bad organization of event, but rather expression of a disappointment, shared by many, when both main acts failed to appear.
Organizational part was good. Setup, sound (good recovery after previous fiasco @ Goa Gil's annual), etc. was excellent. Thanks for that.
But "appendicitis" of Logic Bomb member is still a rumor. Assuming Johan? There is no information on this anywhere on the web, even on logic Bomb website (but schedule shows San Francisco appearance). And after months of speculations and rumors about Logic Bomb's unconfirmed and other blah-blah-blahs, it sounded lame, when the only information at the party was the rumor of Logic Bomb cancellation due to illness.
Also, SF wasn't the first US place for Logic Bomb's appearance. If they cancelled entire US tour, there was plenty of time to announce it. At least, on Solstice website.
For whatever reasons, it didn't happen. And THIS SUCKS!!! I don't care what the reasons are. I feel cheated. I would show up at the party anyway, even knowing that Logic Bomb isn't gonna be there. And I'm pretty sure that everyone else would do the same. SF 604 community is pretty tight and loyal. But withholding information by organizers disintegrates it.
As far as Nikita's disappearance, it's still a mystery. I can't believe that he can insult his fans by just not showing up. I am not going to write to him. I think it's his obligation, at least to explain. And hope, he is ok. |
