Summer festivals in Greece!

Hallo To everybody,
..one of the last mails that where post in the old isratrance forum/trance in greece section, was talking about another festival in Greece called solaluna2002.
so...the story is that in Greece for many years this scene where hunted by the authorities alot, outdoors got forbiden and many ppl faced the situation of start going to a party in the nature and getting his self arrested-or beaten, instead of having a good time.
Last year after alot of work and trying 2 Man (the guys:Mike & Makis) organized the first official (and legal, no other way works in Greece) outdoor party after many years. of course to organize something like this u can do it alone. so the guys co-operated with a concert organization (neo revma)...the results was Sola Luna and u all now the story. Beside the big succes of the Sola Luna, the Guys faced some realy shit things from neo revma (money problems, attitude, security problems etc..) so this year they split and the guys are organizing this year's samothrakidancefestival.
Neo revma discovered a new way to make money so they deceide to make the Sola Luna2002 (unfortently they have the name-don't let the name confuse u!!!)
But they don't have an idea of what this scene is about. they will try to use last years contact's that been made by the guys and everything that they learnt from them.
my point here is that the only true and worth going festivals in Greece this summer are:

www.electronica-ent.com (just dance festival) wich is a 20 hour marathon including 4-5 stages with many styles like drum n' bass, techno, house, freestyle and psy-trance.
anything else that u might hear wan't be real or worthgoing, also i don't think that sudently Greece can have a festival every week, plus, where are they gonna find all this artist's to play everywhere?????? we need good things happening not many things.
plz think about it and be sure about where u are planing to go!!!!
to all of you...whatever u are planing to do i hope u gonna have the best time of your life!!!! ...cause the time is NOW!

What about all the rumors that the lineups on teh sites are false and not really confirmed (I'm talking about all the festivals)
Any idea when we can have a confirmed and reliable answer about that? |

The Just Dance festival promises a good mixed lineup, leaning towards full-on, but alas, I'll be studying for a few test then, so I can't attend (even though it looks like an amazing 20 hours of non-stop chaotic fun)
Psava is for all the technoheads here, I'm not sure I could handle that much techtrance in a row, with Hux-Flux being probably the gentlest (!!!) act there.
Voama - well, looks great, but then again, they DID change the lienup in the site already, waiting a bit until it's better confirmed.
Samothraki - well, WHAT'S THE F***ING LINEUP? (Other than Son Kite  ) |

Hey
That's good to know the story behind it.
So, where do u suggest us to go to?
Cause my friend went to Samothraki festival last year and really enjoyed herself, and we are thinking of going this year.
About the police issue, isn't it strange that they cause so many problems to underground and non-authorized parties (and even authorized ones), but during that festival they didn't make any problems? Don't u think that there's a chance they'll "wake up" this year and start arresting people?

...this goes to everybody...inside the festival i don't think that there's going to be any problems, but in the way to the festival everybody must be very carefull cause the laws are tied here...so keep realy safe your personal beholdings!!!!
personaly i'm going to be at the 3 main festivals here, psava faam (cause i realy njoy techno) to voama (cause it's going to be a warmup for samothraki) and samothraki cause i think it's going to be the best festival ever!!! i've seen the line up and i assure u guys u wan't believe it!!!! 3 stages with the best artists in the scene + the magic island + our good and true vibe i think it's going to be a blast!!!! the peak time of all the summer festivals arround the world.
also i wan't to say that psava faam and samothraki will launch their sites very soon. don't worry this fest's will happen for sure!!!
just stay tuned....

(not sure if this means we'll also get an Electric Tease or Quirk/Allen & Healey live set, but it is likely)
I've also heard lots of rumors, but these are the guys I know for sure will be there.
Between those guys, plus Son Kite and Saiko Pod, this is already going to be one hell of a festival.

anyway samothraki was quite fine besides one isue there was almost nothing to smoke there!!! its hard to b all the time on fire wihtout any smoke!!!!! i almost ripped of the stage there (those tiny winy small but bastard micros)
and its wrong the polie dont amke there probs,yes they not experiensed as the israely police BUT they do knwo what bong and hash is:) so they do bother about those.
the line up there was great imo besides few acts tha I personaly dont like but they still rocks. the organization was abit crapy,like u cant late the fest in one day and extend it to one more day, ppl book tickets and shit .but one major PLUS for this one besides the others is the topless swiming babes!!!!!!!! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah:))
