i was really bummed about not being able to make it to the one that they had last year with mark allen & chrisbo... i am definitely keen on trying to make it up there somehow, maybe some atlanta people would like to carpool up there?
btw.. congrats to chris (kri) & christian (bsm) for making it onto the line-up this year, showcasing the touch samadhi collective. w00t!

i am definitely up for the trip.. i just got a stack of the flyers in the mail, hopefully it will be possible to rally some atlanta people to organize a caravan up there (i know you are up for it gandu, how about gai & kim?). this is going to be my one summer blow-out spectacular of the year, so i would really like to meet up with some fellow isratrancers while i am up there (apocalypse, do it!). it's on like donkey kong, my friends...

hey ....

im sure there are plenty of new york people heading up for this .. if anyone is interested in car pooling - ( we dont have a car ) there are a couple of us nyu students who would be really up for it ...

also- what are the other ways ( anything works - we've done worse in goa .. ) to get up there ?

boom ..

:edit: did a little research, it seems its a four and half hour drive to artemas .. and theres a greyhound service within thirty miles - but thats the last resort ! ...

Wow that is too much money for three live acts
but I guess the east coast doesnt get too much action when it comes to outdoor festival I guess it must be worth it.

if it were 3 live acts in one night or even over two days then yes, i would probably agree with you... however this event is going to be going on for 4 days (thurs-sun), so if you get your tickets before may 19th they will only cost $75 each. that is only about $18.75 a day if you are there the whole time, or $25 per day if you only stay friday through sunday.
keep in mind, i don't think that a party this far away from the major population centers of the northeast is going to get quite as large of a turnout as an event right in the heart of downtown nyc, so i think that the admission fee is a good way to make sure that the organizers can afford all of the costs of putting on an event of this size without loosing their asses financially. gaian mind did a slightly smaller-scale party @ this location last year, so i am pretty sure that they have based the cost for this year's event upon last year's turnout in order to (at least) break even..          michael

But if you compared numbers with other festivals world wide I think this has to be the most expensive I have seen. I mean Boom was 65 presale but look at the line up, place etc. But anyways good luck guys.
