it all depends on what the previous dj played, unfortunately now a days theres a trend to get 6 djs + in a 12 hr party span, which to be honest is ridiculous. 4 djs tops would be just fine, there would be more flow to the sets in general, thus creating a better psychedelic story, which in the end its all this is about.
6.00 am the first rays of light would be showing, so night music is out of the question!, after 7 hrs of the genre the crowd needs something fresh to start the new day.
I would suggest music in the likes of 'pragmatix' & 'Heterogenesis' style, pumping, psychedelic & no cheese, and if you would like, some 4 to 5 years ago silicon sound tracks. If you keep up this for a couple of hours you should have a very happy dance floor, but keep your eyes on the crowd, if you see people sitting on the side taking a break, and you feel theyre not up for it, it doesnt mean theyre not liking the music, it means their body is tired and you need a change of pace. In that case you need to play tracks that will touch the listeners heart's , simple intelligent buildups with great sounding sounds and warm melodies that make you cry with joy, a perfect example would be the 'space cat albums from beam me up till mechanical dream', unfortunately after that he produced only cheese. Cosma's tracks would do wonders at that time, incredible pads & atmos assure the best psy spiritual experience you can immagine.
