you are a really succesful artist if all the real heads say you are a sellout and makin crapmusic.
what i like with the artists that i like is if they put something new into their style and have some fresh ideas.playfulnes is allways good..maybe if you hear that the artist really enjoys doin the music that they do.

Sorry, I haven't been taking enough cocaine in my life to be able to answer that question. All I can say is, that the only important thing about an artist is his art. Period! if it's what you itemized, then it's not art but pure egomanic self-absorbtion in order to jerk of on oneself.
And another thing: Apart from the music, the main reason for me to join the psychedelic trance circus in the first place was, that such childish, unsophisticated, hedonistic and career-oriented bullshit wasn't really present there at that time. OK, it's been 11 years now and that mainstreamly crappy behaviour of those without own ideas but with loads of conformance, those tourists of other peoples ideasm have arrived and overtaken this scene. So I have to accept such stupid questions.
OK, to answer it: Of course you mean that guy, that has taken the best cocaine around, that has the most killah bassline, the most stopstarts, the cheesiest Goa rave climaxes, the longest and blackest hair and the most Israeli-sounding accent on his otherwise crappy english. Just the one all the little, immature and tempted kids are sreaming and shouting at, in quest for affiliation to somthing supposedly huge, they've heard about before.
Well, from my point of view: Utter distgusting crap shit.
What makes an artis succesful to me? What to say, if I don't care about success?
