Hi All !

VP Records collected for us 6 remixes for the big hit from Sub6 debut album - 7th Son (with Michele Adamson) :

1 - Andre Absolut Remix
The first remix is a sexy one very good track for seeing some asses in action.
I don't need to remind Michele's beatifull singing...it just add a lot for the track.
Groove , groove and more groove !

2 - Fitalic Remix
One of the best remixes for me - summer atmosphere and pumping bass line with groovy kick. Robin and Jeroen made here excllent job and I'm sure it will be playing a lot on the progressive dance floors around the world.

3 - Klangstrahler Projekt Remix
This remix is more "cluby". You can sit and enjoy from chilling and relaxing tune...chilling style on slow bpm !
You must be with open mind for connect to this one, but when you do it the enjoyable experience is promised.
I like the brake on 03:40 with Michele's voice and the nice guitars games.

4 - Ticon Remix
The expectations from this remix are high and I promise you won't disappoint.
After 58 seconds of playing and vocals, enter Ticon's kick and it's so groovy...!
Fillip and Fredrik know their job and they do it on the best way they can...you can feel the special and refreshing atmosphere in the air.
Very recommended !!!

5 - Freq Remix
Another top artist with amazing remix for 7th Son.
Mr. Gallagher with impressive remix ! on compare to the other remixes, I think this one works on the best way in the dance floor.
Freq's unique kick all over with the amazing vocals - PERFECT !
For me, it's the best remix !

6 - Sub6 Remix
Golan and Ohad re-mixed their own track.
There are not a lot of changes from the original version, except the bass line that turn to be more groovy and proggy, but I still prefer the original version.

Anyway, I think it's a must cd on everyone cases. The amazing thing here that every artist/project took this tune and remixed it on completly diffrent way so we got 6 diffrent remixes with a lot of groovy progressive.

The Ticon remix (found on the new DOMO compilation) is certainly excellent           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

All the remixes have vocals but each artist/s used the vocal on diffrent way, I can't explain it in words just get it and you will understand.

@nolightatend: You can find the original 7th son track on the Sub6 'who needs love songs' album available on Hom-Mega Records. Anyway, some great remixes here indeed. I like the Ticon remix and the Andre Absolut remix the most, but the others are none too shabby either. Andre Absolut sure is remixing and producing some good tracks nowadays

Although the list of remixers is very impressive, I must admit I didn't really like the original, and therefore had some doubts beforehand – but this is indeed very good.

My favourites are from Ticon and FREq – Ticon with a multilayered uplifting dance floor smasher, and FREq with a more crunchy, filtered version. André Absoluts sweet breakbeat-remix is quite good as well, but perhaps not as exceptional as I would have expected – and Fitalics remix had the usual bouncy Fitalic-sound that I love so much, but I found it too standard. Fitalic on autopilot.

That said, for half the price of a compilation, you get plenty for your money with this release – very recommended.

Now, bring us some remixes of some of the other highlights from "Who Needs Love Songs"           DJ pr0fane (Iboga Records) | Multiphase

this would be one of the greatest releases of this year if all of the artists simply removed the vocals from their tracks...now it's one of the worst ones...the original is a pop track and the artists that remixed don't seem to mind that...

every time I hear michelle singing it sucks big time...the only thing she's good at is moaning in some of the shpongle tracks...and it has to be tweaked by simon to sound interesting...otherwise...no thnx

there I said it...I don't want to offend any artists as I know how hard it is to read bad reviews...all the tracks have a great idea, sound quality and they are very much danceable...but the vocals just kill it for me...sorry           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records
