Just been asked by Roland/Edirol and Sonodyne to be their music production rep for studio monitors and instruments so if anyone is interested send me a PM with what model you're looking at and I'll forward you to the distro people ... (you guys can save on the cut they're giving me, just need your recos so we can get them to support our events)
Models: Roland
DS8/DS7/DS5
MA 15/MA 7A (low priced ~ 7200 a pair)
and all the field recorders, mixers, keyboards and consoles that Edirol has in their catalogue.
Sonodynes come highly recommended... just Google them.

I'm on the lookout for a pair of monitors. Presently looking into :-

Are there some models in Roland/Edirol i should be looking into with similar specs though:-
50W RMS atleast
preferably a silk tweeter
Atleast a 5 inch driver for some decent bass.

Yidam, Can you give me price quotes on all three ds -5,7,8.
The digital input is a given plus as compared to the audioengines. Im not sure about the sound quality though still looking at some reviews.
Have you auditioned these models? How do they sound?
