Stuck in a moment...

Have you ever got stuck in a 'musical' moment? Do some tracks take you back to that party moment you could never ferget?, your first date? or even that one moment when you were oh so connected from within?
Lately, these memories or glimpses have started popping up in my head more often, and surprisingly I seem to like them. Everytime I hear that track or song, it straight takes me back to that day, that evening in my bedroom, that dark night, that lovely forest trek, that party, those lonely moments, those hours of drunkenness among my friends, and puts a wishful smile on my face.
Please note that this isnt just about a good time Ive had/shared, or an unfergetful or eventful moment, but its more like a musical moment Ive got stuck in, a moment where my mind, my surroundings and the music (that track or song) were perfectly in sync with each other to give me the purest possible vibe that just doesent seem to wear off!
to stretch this thought a little...
- 'CBL - Mos6581' takes me through to a rainy evening a year back, when I heard that track as I was looking outside my bedroom window & the most beautiful rains were washing those trees wet.
'space cat - power on' takes me back to a moment, 4 years ago, 7 am (we're heading back from a nice party) and Im in my friends car, and it is certainly a beautiful morning looking at all those mountains and hill pass by beyond us.
'pink floyd's - high hopes' leaves me in an empty green field, a place where me and a couple of close friends used to hang out and smoke every evening..
'bitter sweet symphony' by the the verve reminds me of an evening at home, after a really lousy long and stressful day, this was a few years back.
Shulman's 'consciousness revoked' somehow reminds me of those lovely silent afternoons of my summer holidays when I was in school (10 years ago? and i never even used to listen to shulman then), I can still hear the damn koel's call though, and see that mango tree that stood infront of my house back then!
apart from these, there are so many more instances, some I cant even seem to describe verbally.
Maybe, Im just too attached to these glimpses from my past to let them go(?), but the music seems to bring them up over and over again,..
or maybe Im just a dreamer like everyone else around here. or am I not?

Brilliant bro...
Thats shows how much are you attached to your music. Unfortunately there are just few moments that we stick to or connect to; imagine a whole life so much inspired & attached to/from the music & life becomes so heavenly & blissful as these ecstatic moments we are talking about.
Such is the power of Music. It holds the power to extinguish all the negative that exists in this physical world, provided we all are sincerely attached to & inspired by the music.
Tansen sang 'Deepak Raag' & there was light all around. He sang 'Raag Malhar' & it started to rain.
Thats what i call music, it's got endless power to make wonders, makes every moment a moment to cherish all the time, consolidates loads of energy thats just being littered around.
Close your eyes, dive in the musical ocean & you will find yourself the most contained of all.

Was listening to Bamboo Forest last night and suddenly from nowhere i remembered a party i went to in bamboo Forest with a whole bunch of very dear friends.
I got goose bumps just reliving those moments yesterday. Not sure if it was the music that night and day and afternoon : ) or it was just BEING there with my friends, dancing, laughing, taking the piss of another friend, a friend getting shouted at by the chai lady, the cold, the hot sun, the beautiful morning breeze, the sound of the coconut leaves swaying, Bah, it was Magic!! and then suddenly, i said to myself -
Its all gone baby, happened a long time ago!
Luckily for me such moments will never go, they are buried too deep inside my heart for me to lose.
Miss you fuckers man!

candy power @ mango farms early this year...that around 1hr experience was amongst the wackiest...for a moment i felt everyone is looking at me and smiling away as if i knew them for yrs...

it was couple of years back me and my pals were patying at paradiso cliffhanger night club anjuna and i was dancing in front row near to speakers and tat Dj i dont remember his name although had made a sudden twist by scratching Dire straits "Money 4 nothing N chiks 4 free" tat was a new exp ever for me in a rave ,,,and tat guiater brazing was always there in my head 4 long and hearing tat again takes me bak to tat wonderful moment i always wished to do often........ |

@ yidam - U were so there dude .. i clearly remember the nite before we went to the z machine party at bamboo forest and that morning we went to 9 bar and the next night was hilltop he he ( me , shaq and you .. rmember that big caravan in which we went )
