well your fears were answered in india couple of days when GMS played at a swanky nightclub in downtown delhi and played "cities of the future"... you should have heard the so called psytrance loving crowd who started singing aloud the lyrics...
& believe me i aint kidding... i almost puked myself to death being in the company |

well your fears were answered in india couple of days when GMS played at a swanky nightclub in downtown delhi and played "cities of the future"... you should have heard the so called psytrance loving crowd who started singing aloud the lyrics...

Yeah it's already too late... At full moon festival Infected Mushroom had bodyguards to take them away from the stage, cos of carzy chineese girls were chasing them and screaming.. LOL

yes, more bad music with singing in it!
I absolutely hate vocals in psy trance. One of the reasons I found myself getting into this music in the first place was the fact that there were no vocals, no singing that ruined the feeling of the tune. I think it is absolutley unbelievable the crap infected mushroom make these days - jesus what the f*** are these people thinking.
I think it is a good thing to experiment and try to evolve the sound, although it took me a long time to accept the Shpongle singing; for me the best stuff is always the vocals that are sung 'in tongues' ie/ in a made up language - just tones like Neera on some old Medecine Drum stuff.
Please stop the vocals !!!

the situation today is that the artists have grown up and try to make more "musicaly mature" trance but the fact is that most artist dont have enough knowlege or expirience in writing songs cuz they wrote tracks all their life..
Vocals are the shortest way to the listeners minds so everybody is tryin this nowdays makin a road to a new music of the new milenium - pop-trance.
a very energetic / dance oriented songs that the common crowd can relate to.. |

This is very true.
Another example of singing gone wrong imHo is: Yahel - Hallucinate...... dumb as lyrics if u ask me.
Lets see how much support there is for this... Skazi vs Isabelle - Revolution..... I thought it was cool tune, and even tho there aren't many words... they get in your head- good pop-trance if u will.
Also Damage - Accidental Damage.... i totally enjoy this track, i think the singing in it is killer ..... pop-trance again ???
where does the serious music end and the cheese begin ???
i guess that's an individual thing right?

Again i like vocals aswell, but i do care if it get's mainstreem..
If you don't care, then why don't you take you'r glowsticks and furry legwarmers and go to a club call "IN" where dj's like Tiesto plays!

hehe yeah i like vocals if they get played in the morning/daytime when the sun is shinng i think it can be good
but it has to be some good vocals and real voices not that robot shit with israelic accents that makes me think is this infected or scooter thats playing...
and what is up with this wave of trance artist remixing old songs i think its only 1 out 10 thats actually good the rest is too cheesy and sounds unfinshed in my apinion 
personally i like some of the tracks that michele adamson has done..but think she is getting to hyped right now so its get cheesy and not surpricing like the first tracks she did:( also like the new x.dream vocal very much but dont think that counts has trance :S hehehehe
but then we have you june see you soon behind the skrald
