man i have the feeling i am discussing with teens somehow.
i am really really not surprised now that most artists are almost ashamed to pronounce the word dark, if this was the situation on isratrance in the last years.
i will sit right now and write and an article about it and post in different forums. enough with the bullshit.
stop calling it dark bla bla bla. sounds like kindergraten to me. really .and yes definitely isratrance is not representative for all the trance community world wide. this is for sure. many ppl call it dark. and it is good like that. buah. i can also say dont call it trance, call it full on empathic whatever. trance is something else. trance is going beyond borders of light and dark.
yes mfg were the dark side of goa. go and ask them what phonocol told them as they showed their first tracks back in 96. aaaa! this is too dark, they said. this is not the purpose of trance and bla bla bla. trance has to be happy they said. then mfg redesigned the tracks in a suitable manner to fit into the trance mood . and still you see the influences, cause these are people that actually ve been in darker scenes earlier before they came to trance and you can definitely see this. message from god. god is not only light didnt you get it? god is everything. god is also shiva the destroyer of worlds and kali the goddess with skulls killing ignorance. this is a message form god too. really. it is unimaginable that i read all this stuff here. UNIMAGINABLE.

i think i should take a day to study the meaning of the word dark in all different languages or at least in the most important languages like israeli, hindu, and all others. i dont know, but i really dont see anything bad in the word. i think it has to do sth with ethimology or generally with perconditioning by the mother language. generally our mother language plays an important role of how we perceive the world outside. i really dont get it why ppl have sth against it, to call it dark. somehow i feel that we all understand sth else under dark. i have only good feelings about the word.

When iv started Raving i was not sure about the diffrent style's in this genre , However when DJ performes a Dark set we use to say Its the Time to prepare the Stash
