yeah the point is that the light at the end of the tunnel is through the darkness. how can you imagine what is a light if you dont know what is darkness?
exactly like kali from the last page is the light beyond the darkness.
i find the term dark psy really really very appropriate.

Most of so called dark psy ain't that dark now-a-days, just much more trippy than full on.
Actually I find much more energy and positive feeling come from the release of tension when listening to dark psy that some sleazy full on style club track.
Seriously, Kanibal Holocaust sound to me to be taken from the same vein as the horror flick from ages ago of a similar title.
I like music that sounds original and is full of energy,and you cannot tell me that generic isra-full on makes you energetic or is original at all.
Dark psy is a great way to explore the othe rmore experimental aspects of this scene, and I actually prefer th emore clear and acid driven sounds of say Cosmo/Highko/Kindzadza/Osom type acts which are not dark in the slightest, and have soem very fun glitch moments.
Ho hum move on kids another pointless topic so that we can argue over the same old thing we have argues for the last 8 years

well i just wanna say that from the point of view of a simple listener as me, it is funny to say that they are not dark . most ppl who put them in their sets, call the sets dark psy too. check for instance imo the best website for dark psy http://www.triplag.com ( I LOVE TRIPLAG) where you can listen to the best dark psy sets in the internet and find very very interesting music, and you will see that the sets with cosmo highko or kindzadza are called DARK PSY all. so why to deny this beautiful term anyway? i have talked to highko about it once, and he said he doesnt like to call the style dark, he prefers to call it noise poison style and you know i would not insist to call it dark in front of highko if it is not pleasant for him, but even if i remain silent, i see his style as a truly beautiful dark psychedelic style. cosmo too. kindzadza also. the pioneer. for me they are dark. and i would prefer to call it like that, first because it gives me pleasure in the brain cells as i said some pages ago, second because this beautiful term fits to my psychedelic religion and third because i dont have time to lose with music and parties that i dont like, i am too old to lose time with that anymore, and i would like to concentrate on the fragment that interests me. so i dont wanna download sets that dont interest me, or lose my precious saturday night with music that i dont llike......i would like to know if it is dark or not.
and last but not least, may be it is this fucking contradiction the reason that makes the " market" for dark psy so week. there is not a uniting concept out of the view of a customer. i am not a fan of commercializing but i am a fan of good artists, i love them, and i wanna see them happy , not like that, not paid for their work....

Exactly ... Cosmo/HIghko/Osom/KDD not dark in the least, but usually considered "DARK". I can't speak for Highko or Cosmo, but the guys making Osom refuse to term it as "Dark Psy", it's almost funny happy music and they have a great time making it and they don't consume any psychoactive substances either..
MOki now wants to insist with these artists that they are dark, when they themselves HATE THE WORD Wow sistaaa...let up at sometime.

Highko, KDD, Osom for me is not dark..... they are sooooo playful (specially Highko for me is about playing around with Glowballs to his mad fast but not dark tunes)
KDD on the other hand for me is about puppet dancing...... he is the puppet master & he plays with the puppets i.e WE THE DANCERS

well fria, do you really believe that i am the only one who calls them dark ( insists?)? check out this website that i gave you, the triplag website and its forum. i am following the sets posted there since quiiiiiite a long time and every set that anyone has posted with that names is being refered as dark psy. you see, it is just too contradictory. they dont call it dark, but the ppl who play them , do.
for me it is contradictory too, that ocelot opens this topic, cause i can remember this cute conversation with him too . some of his tracks are really beautiful dark psy but he refuses to call them dark. and i dont fucking inist that he does, or even osom do. i am ust pointing the reason why they are dark for me and why i love to call them dark. it doesnt fucking interest me if they hate the word. i am silent if they are in front of me, i am not preaching them to start calling it dark you know? never did. ( but i consider to start asking them why they dont like this beautiful term if i see them next time).
it is just too boring like that. i would like to live my psychedelic religion and i dont wanna be put in the black list for loving to call it dark. whyt can i do, i really love it dark. never ever in 13 years trancing i have been so much satisfied with the development of trance , and with the concept of my own psychedelic religion. finally i found the meaning. the darkness as a passage to light. and i dont see the point to fucking deny the beauty of darkness. even the last page with kali, i mean, what is the point to talk about a goddess of darkness (walking with skulls and bones) like the mother of all good and light and solibacy and whatever, and to deny the main thing. that she has to appear as dark. it is her mission. to be dark. why keep to the light even if there is no light. dont get it. anyway. at the end of the day, if i hear "aaaaaaa someone get me out of here now" it sounds dark to me. no matter what the guy says.
