stands for Discrimination Torment and Hatred
This a open post to this music sub culture that effects everybody and the whole world.
It is with great shame I have to bring you this news from Australia.
This scene deserves better from people whom are supposed to be role models and have a high status in the community.
You would think that a site administrator would have more brains for one whom represents a major Trance Forum that also represents it Country.
Dale from Oztrance has brought disrepute to its members and the very own guidelines rules of the forum he is a administrator too.
this organisation http://www.myspace.com/glf_australia has been contacted due to a post that Dale posted on Oztrance. It was copied and pasted on this site. http://www.gothic.org.au/forum/index.php

Goths and emos who stand at the top of stairs at Flinders St, and more recently I have noticed some at the State Library.
They should be lowered into holes, not raised up as if they are worth looking at.

funny....i just finished writing a very angry post against someone who, talking about the australian scene and parties there, had no respect and used bad language and insults in every posts he wrote.....(just because he thinks he hates hippies)....?!

Man you have it all wrong. For a start I don't know who Dale is nor do I care. But A friend sent me this post he copied and pasted from this Oztrance forum.
Firstly as I understand it the commercial music industry is trying to stamp out illegal downloading pirating. Artists of all genres genuinely would stand united on that.
So what about internet bullying hey. This is a pack mentality produced by somebody who's popularity obviously is pretty high because he is majorly involved in the running of a internet forum.
That forum has rules like every other forum. But because he is up the ladder, is it fair that these rules and standards are good for some but not others? Internet bullying is becoming as dangerous to the fabric of society as to the effect of piracy does to the financial welfare of artists.
It's not acceptable and put all the politics and infighting that goes on any any scene being what ever music sub-culture. This is not personal. But a message to all forums admins and moderators to get your heads out of each others asses. The internet is open to everyone anybody can see what goes on. There is accountablity. People have died, some bashed and some committing suicide, because of internet bullying.
I suggest you rethink your comment and focus on the real issue mate. |

If you are serious about what you say then let me know about it so i will start bullying you so that hopefully you will commit suicide by Saturday before my party with Perfect Stranger in Athens.

You're the one propagating this meme.
Internet forums aren't "fair" in the sense that they guarantee equal treatment for all. They are owned, private spaces. You vote with your virtual feet--don't participate if you don't like how a community is operated.
At any rate, the original quote is wide open to rebuttal. It wouldn't take very much to get public opinion on the side of respect and tolerance by arguing with the original author in the proper context.

If you can't have grown up conversation then I suggest you google (internet bullying) read up about it and I can tell you in Australia it's on the politicians radar as I'm a member of a political party .
