LOL where did I say I prefer dark style only???
I actually dj and love progressive styles, house, electro and vocal house...
sometimes I also dj techtrance, acid techno, old goa/psy and dark styles.
just not full on.
to say I like dark and that I"m overly agressive over one stupid comment is just ridiculous... your all getting way to haughty...
surely you have been against something and made and off hand comment that you wish they'd just F**k off or you wish they'd die... of course you don;t mean it literally, it's an expression.
and yes I do have abit of a punk/metal attitude as that is what I played in my late teens/early 20's... in harcore punk and metal bands... I am not going to apologise for who I am, and if you ban me or abuse me for it, you are being a hypocrit.
on topic:
Sure GMS made many changes to this scene, they were a great influence early on... but I give no credit to Spun records because they only ever made full on. A tyle that has more in similar with euro trance and clubmusic than psy/goa trance.
90% of people I know who love full on have never listened to the old school style, never listen to any other sub genres and have a pretty bad attitude. They have never taken acid or any other mind expanding drug and they call themselves psychedellic.
They take Ice, "E" and cocaine and just generally ruin the vibe.
sorry if it not the same in your country but when I also see the atittudess in everything by acts from Astral Projection to Skazi to Dali to GMS regarding political views, live shows and your so called PLUR lifestyle it just detracts from the style of trance even more.

I really really hate it and cannot wait for the style to die out of this scene ASAP. |

I dont know if it was already "fullon", but the first releases of spun records were quite nice back then 
although I reallly loved GMS till a bit after their no rules album, and after that time they got just worse (except a few tracks imo), I would still never say a bad word about their stuff or bitch about their music...just because of respect!
and this respect doesnt come from what they did in their early days, every person deserves respect...if you like what they do or not! and even if they turn the scene into a bad direction in your eyes (what moreover is the change of their style thats still copied by a lot of artists), so what!  people change over time, and with them changes their styles and preferences...and you could still think of that what you want, and I bet nobody tells you to shut up...but try to tell it with respect! I bet you dont want that people say that your favourite style are just shit and that they hope that they die out soon 
so now on topic: I just heard about it from a friend today, and I was really kind of surprised...I always thought that they re making enough money with spun 
but I bet its just some restructuring of the label, like already mentioned...lets see what the future brings, maybe even some good music again from those guys

lol man! those people are everywhere get used to it!! in 10 years when psychedelic music will evolve to high frequency buzzing* they'll talk about good old full on times with nostalgy.. time passes by. and now is the some new time. and we're all part of it.
and the other quoted statement is VERY BAD!! very bad attitude u have. i dont like full on too, but i dont want it to 'die'.. maybe your style of music is less succesfull than full on and u want to be different...do something to change that..make different music.. invent a music instrument..create new concepts.. the easiest thing is to spit around @ styles that u dont like - the hardest thing is to make a change

Sorry maybe its only me but i enver noticed any psycahdelic music in this label.....
anyway from 1 side its bad that label need to close down specially a label that got so much knowing and affecting in the scene.... but from otherside... maybe its a new age that began with newer kind of psytrance....
anyway just like aerospace track say......."THE FUTURE IS HERE " hehehehe
