agree, great party with a great vibe.
but was the sound a wee bit too loud or was I just dancing too close to the speakers?.. can't seem to get the ringing out of my head |

I'm heading to the club in half an hour (Cosmosis in LA). Can someone tell me what they thought of Bilbo's new music? and did he play any of his old tracks?

killer party..
had a great time..roxy has one of the best sound system..
john phantasm and avi played a killer set..
the suprise package was junya but he played only 2 or 3 tracks as it had to be shut down..
nice to meet all the bombay boys.......

An excellent night... Cosmosis started it off well... i am came in pretty late after he was almost done ... but John's set was its amazing...what can i say like Son like Father  He played alot of Junya's trax and some of ashers which as usual create alot of chaos on the floor.Ari's set was nice too... good morning tunes ... Astrix new songs just rules his set, Fire and E-vox had the crowd go insane! Nice event guys ,a nice decor and sounds too 
Did Junya really play?? Shit man!! i missed him i left towards the end of space cats set! 
And btw thnx for the cd guys... nice marketing skills to remove old stock  haha just kiddin, thnx anyways |

Ver very nice party ... Just shows you how good music can make people feel so happy that everyone in the party becomes a large family. Lets see - got there around 1:30 - 2:00 right in the middle of cosmosis' set - wow what a set - so psychedelic - very tweaked - very good. After cosmosis' set was over i thought - nothing can equal that - but I was wrong - John Phantasm came on - holy shit I think he played alot of eskimo - very good set - by this time I was almost hoping to hear one bad track cause it was just too perfect, but i was left hoping . Next came on space cat - This man mixes so well I thought he played one long 4 hour track. His track selection was good as expected and the set trancended me from being a human - to being a psychedelic spiritual reflection of myself that is watching yself dance on the dancefloor. The deco was amazing - the string work was very good - loved it specially the triangle behind the djs. Roxy as a location is a very good place - wow - really big and really open - good space - and it was clean - LOved it - wished it would never end -thats a lie cause my feet were killing me by the endof it.

..........flying maybe gliding.......yeah i think it was a mixture of both, what i was experiencing.....walked in with droozi just to wonder why the hell have i never payed attention to cosmosis before......."weird, sick, twisted evil stuff"...........hehehehehehehhehe and i surely wanted "in"...........then came this man "john" who i had never heard before..........junya i gotta tell u .......he gives a different sound to ur tracks - dont ask me how he does it......... im still wondering the same thing.
..........then a legend in my opinion, avi aka space cat. have u noticed what perfect timing this guy has.......track selection, mixing, story of the set all perfect........... and that second last track he played with those vocals was just insane. hard to believe that gms has a hand in that track.
i havent flown like this in the last 18 months - seems like this is the best trip to NY ever. ill never forget it.......... love to all the ppl who were smiling at the party - i guess thats everybody and also to those 2 lovely girls who shared their elements and choclates with me.

ahhh there's noT much left to say after ur post guys  ...dude the party jus took off from no where...reached early when hardLY 3 ppl were on the floor...damm i was taken back...but what a night it turned out to be...well said shammy its jus amazin to see the same faces; the whole "psycho family" enjoyin together under a shelter haha ....babla am sure ur havin a kick ass trip dude...saw u rockin it hard on the floor all nite haha ...both john n avi played their sets wid intense care and had the vibe flowin all throughout  ...Thanx to all the organisers for putiin up such a crazy night! !!!In short =) Great music + Great sound +Great Deco +Great Vibe = Good party =

Hey, did cosmosis play any classics or just the new tracks? I'm really upset I have a paper due tommmorow and couldn't go out on friday!!! >_< cosmosis oldies are some of my faves, i heard a live set from about a year ago with cosmosis i believe it was a year go could be shorter or longer, and i remember it not being very good and being overly minimal and new stylish, not like their old stuff!, their old stuff = amazing! i hope they played some of that! |
