U're making me laugh quite hard sWa and ::bedbug:: ...

Always crying, and when anybody tries to do something you come and tell him that it's useless..

It's in YOUR minds that Trance is dead.. nowhere else.

Cheerz..

hello Kako dude!
listen, nobody's crying here actualy, we'r just giving our opinion cos its the use of a forum...or is it? so try to keep cool and tell us, concretely, what did FNAC for you,
and for psy-lovers, those past 15 years?
It seems that E-SHOPS works well and could be a cheap way to distribute music (even french) ALL OVER THE WORLD...
Other thing is that i don't think, personaly that transe is dead...just a bit sleepy here...maybe... don't ask why our french musicians are so famous OUT OF FRANCE...but who cares...
so cheerz and keep cool.
LOVE.

For me FNAC in those past 15 years provided me all the Hip Hop, Reggae, Ska, Movies OST, and so on I needed when I was beginning to dig these styles..

Later only I discovered specialized shops.. and have been able to find more "specific" sounds..

BTW I used to buy a LOT of psychedelic Trance in the World Of Music in Freiburg, Germany to be precise... Which is an equivalent of FNAC.. U can't imagine of many records I've seen there (of course i couldn't buy them all) ...

Why couldn't it be the same in France ? Are we too dumb ?

I don't think so..

Regular and E-Shops are both necessary.           .

Hi Bedbug,

I think that it's a nice thing that FNAC sells some trance cd's (and other styles ). Well, in a way, i can understand your disappointment with that shop but please, consider that some people don't have an internet link and i'm pretty sure that these persons are very happy to find some good cd's to purchase in "their" FNAC

MDR, there's nothing but tribe heads left in our country, ppl who fuck them self up in partys then stand to dj just noding there head to a track thats in 240bpm, THATS NOT TRANCE, thats a fucking junkie geting he's shit on, dont get me wrong i got nothing against drugs, ppl do what they want but trance is about spirituality about comsic presence not fuck your self up.
I live in france the summers and in sweden the rest of the year, let me tell u if u havent seen a party in sweden u havent seen a party.
Dont get me wrong, there are some partys that are ok, but the quantity has nothing to do with what goes on in other countrys.           Making full-on (specialy with a vb-1) is like playing FIFA in easy mode, you're always sure to win.

Don't worry sWa

As I'm living very close to both german and swizZ boarders I am considering myself as lucky.. Sometimes it's even hard to choose between 2-3 parties where I could go in the Week-end..

Now about our "beloved" country..
You know I don't think that teasing the people like you describe them is the solution.. On the contrary, the older freaks should have to "teach" them somehow the spirit you mention.. Instead of staring at them like : "eeeeh who are those f/****g tourists ?"

Things are changing !! I was 3 times at the Tryptique in Paris (a 1000 km trip) and I can promise that the ambiance was top class (oakay the people there where a bit 'older').. It is a nice step forward, I think !!

A few years ago I could even not imagine going to a party in France... and now i've made it 3 times.. without regrets !!

We are only LATE (and not dead) besides our neighbour countries ! It's up to us all to fill in this delay.

Peace !           .

it seems, for the moment, this distribution operation isn't as succesful as wished.
From what i know except in Fnac 'Champs Elyséees-Paris' probably also 'Bastille' & Fnacs of Lille & Toulouse i think you can't find the Montera selection...

Indeed, i remember reading someone from Bordeaux telling he went to his fnac with the ad published in coda, asking for this Montera trance's selection as he found nothing ,he asked a salesman to command a cd. Ok then after, some very few cds were physically available directly in this shop due to the comand passed by this guy.

I personnally think the Montera's selection could be helpful in France but if at least the cds were directly available in the shop without being obliged to pass a command.
Furthermore, recently fnac has installed free listening corner based on 'code bar', double reason to make present directly the cd in shop.
1) you see it , you can think buying it
2)you can have a preview listening

But as much as trance cds aren't available directly from all fnacs in france, this distribution operation has no interest at all!

Btw it seems the guy behind Montera more busy promoting his own new launched label 'Hoots records' that taking care of Montera & its business distribution...
