I've noticed that regardless of what soundcard you use they all seem to have significantly less output than CDJs do even at max volume.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a sound card that can push the same levels that a CDJ does, or even higher?

you would need to check how much impendance the output of your cdjs got and recheck the soundcard you want to use..           -------......-------...-..-..-..-.-.-.-.-

I don't know every soundcard out there, but RME has the loudest output I've heard.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

For line-level devices impedance is not usually relevant, as far as I know?

It's only when transducers (microphones, pickups, speakers, headphones...) get involved that it matters...

I have a presonus audiobox 2x2 USB interface, and just got an audio 2 dj...

Audio 2 DJ is definitely fucking loud.

However, it was a real pain in the ass to set up and you have to tweak the latency and possibly disable some things on your computer. You also need USB 2.0 ports.

For instance, I can't be connected to a wifi connection with internet or else I get crazy latency spikes. Thankfully if I host an Ad-Hoc network (which I need for Touchable/Omnisphere) it goes away...but it was a PITA.

Worth it though. Loud!            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

Why do you need a higher output? Are you comparing a liveset with a dj set? Are you forgetting about mastering by any chance?
If you don't have enough volume you can also crank up the gain on the mixer. I have had no problems with the levels so far..           soundcloud.com/supergroover

For what its worth, I have the Saffire's output level all the way down when we are playing live and the mixer's gain at unity (obviously going in to line level inputs) and to no surprise the meters peak at 0dB.

Peace out.

in my saffire 6 usb the +4 output s the one from P10 cables... but not every mixer has p10 input .... ;/ tbh here in brazil u are lucky to get a mixer with p10 input in small parties...

and the rca output from the soundcard is -10 db....

what it would be better? to buy a cable that converts p10 to rca ? instead of usin rca output that would be -10 db ? those converted cable loose quality ?

it sux to have to crank up the mixer to the maximum...

If this is for Live use, you should look into getting a power-amp. Something that can churn out 200W-400W. Ideal for live use, but overkill for home use.
