Will be trying this out for sure although I'm going to get use to the hd 650 inside and out first before using this sort of thing , I'm confident with the use of anilizer and own judgment for now, but it is true you can mix very well in high end headphones providing you know them well and your tools ya should be fine..           Devasya Savitur

I am curious, you are satisfied the the bass of the HD650?

The sonarworks guy told me that it rolls of bass at 80 Hz and might be not suitable for me due to this reason.           http://facebook.com/ansolas

I use an anilizer on another screen , like I said there are way around once you know what your doing whilst keeping things as close to the truth a possible I now own the HD 600s back In 2008 in my ultra newb days lol I owned the 650 for a few month and sold them due to financial shite- I had them both and they are both just lovely you won't be unhappy with them trust me.

We may not need software like that dont be drawn in to more "stuff".

Love your eq's like a soldier and his rifle if you can see what's going on with the frequencies as well how can one go wrong with a nice pair of headphones - reference checks etc . All good mate enjoy

Edit # above my other post I ment get to know the hd 600

Open Monitoring Headphones

dam man , you so hard to convince , there isn't that much difference, because they both reach expectations , what audioface you using?

the 650 have a slightly more "neutral" balance and translate well. The 600 is more involving to listen to, and presents a bit more inner detail. Headphones really do interact with individual ear shapes in ways that make it important to audition them yourself.

those ones look on the woody side lol bet they sound great though.. depends on your budget.. by the way I cant read German ;-)

Downloaded a demo and used their m50 calibration curves

then took a screenshot of the reference plugin curves...
and took another screenshot from Gliss EQ from Voxengo maximized in the screen...

next i went into photoshop and made a match between the curves from reference and the gliss between the 100 hz and the 10000 khz...

the curves were also matching +6 and -6 db...

then after an hour of carefully redesign the curves in the gliss EQ, i made the testing... its almost exacly the same... wich is why i dont need this anymore as i only wanted to do calibration for my headphones

so i dont need to buy it...

but this is pretty good, i strongly recomend to people who have one the models avaliable to use this, because it really translates very well the frequency response and it can fix the overal bad perception you may get from trust too much in your headphone model...

Thanks for your efforts and time

but needing to rely on software like this shows a lack in confidence with your eqs and imaging , referencing is plenty good enough for me           Devasya Savitur
