In perspectives of... it was written that son kite are going to release two new albums:one downbeat album and one album that was going to be recorded live... Does anyone know if they are going to be released, because there is no informations about these releases on the digital structures site... Tnx

Maybe the downbeat album is Ooze - Where the fields never end (a solo project of one of them).
and the Live album is supposed to be released soon, I think |

The live one is on hold now.
Ooze is Ooze (Seb's chill project)- better get it- probably one of the best chill out releases of last year.
Son Kite are in the studio, working on the third album, 3 tracks ready last that I talked to them. It's gonna be different, but not clear how- guess we'll have to wait and hear.
There's also a Filur (Seb on his own) album on the way, through Kamaflage if I remember right.

But knowng the "speed" with which Dragonfly/Kamaflage gets their releases out, we might not see this one until 2007.

shahar, thanks for the great info! It seems to me that these days a lot of artists are saying that their next release is going to be "different." Interesting times!
It's very unfortunate that they have put the live album on hold. I really wanted to have a live Son Kite album with better quality than the one recorded for the Swedish radio.
You know, this is the kind of CD you want to have ten years down the road and play it when somebody asks you what the trance scene in the early 2000s was about. I really hope it materializes at some point!

shahar, Seb once told me about a disc under the name "Cooler", a more trancy side-project, whereas "Filur" would bring the more housy stuff. But then I never heard anything else bout it. do you know what's up with that?

The live album from son kite will not be released :-( But there is a son kite live set from malmoe free for download on http://www.sonkite.com ... Great gift from son kite ;-)

We're very sorry that we couldn't deliever what we aimed to do when we released the "Perspecitves of .." album. You want to do so much and very often your to optimistic. As I said we're sorry about this and we hope that you'll be happy when we finally get some new stuff ready.
We thought that we're going to release a downbeat album with Son Kite but this album will not be reality in the near future.
The live album wasn't possible because the drop of sales and instead we're giving you the liveact for free on our website.
there will not be a Filur album but a Cooler album on Kamaflage (hopefully in the end of the summer). The cooler stuff is less trancy than the Filur.
this is the release schedule so far:

Minilogue vs KAB - Join the Minikab EP (Feed me)
Filur - Kiwi mint Pilot EP (Feed me)
Filur - Together again EP (Iboga)
Reefer Decree - Curved Air (Filur remix) (Iboga comp)

Son Kite - Million Wishes (DS - Chillosophy 3)
Ooze - Snowflower (DS - Chillosophy)
Vibrasphere - New Port (Son Kite remix) - DS
Greed feat Lesley - I see you (Minilogue remix) - SOG records
Accessive rythm - Activate (Minilogue remix) - Mealstrom
Then we're like Shahar said working on our new album and we hope that it will be released in the end of this year. As we want to do soemthing new really good it will take some time but I hope that it'll be worth the waiting.
I'm also working on my new Ooze album that we'll be released in the end of this year.

What an impressive list.
I'm really looking forward to the Son Kite Remix of "Newport" from the new Vibrasphere album and the Digital Emission compilation ...
And it's the first time I see that there will be a Filur remix of "Curved Air" on Iboga ... this is by far my favorite Reefer Decree track, and now I can't wait
