to tell the truth, dunno what hype u guys r talking about... maybe i just missed it.
and even if there is a hype around nu son kite album... so what? whats wrong with it? it might turn out not inovative/fresh/new at all.. dunno, havnt heard it, but then u can also ask the same question for chemical crew... sub 6... i doubt it if they do something groundbreaking.. so whats the hype around them?

I think Israel hypes up one artist each year. This year, it's Sub6. Last year it was Astrix and the year before, it was Alien Project....

Hypes are like trends, they tend to fade out pretty quick. And so does the artists that get hyped.
There's an old Swedish expression for this, that would be translated in english roughly as this:
Up as a sun, down as a pancake.  |

I couldn't care less who's behind the music.... it's the music that count - not the band/artistname (in my opinion of course)
And yes.. never listen to rumours or hypes.... Form your own opinion...
Music is a personal taste - and taste is not a subject that should or can be debated.

it all depends on the artists productivity and if he/she/they are stuck in a formula or if they keep developing...

Now to my view of Son Kite,
these guys sure knows how to arrange and tweak sounds, awsome production... though i wish they would co-lab with some fullon artist to mix some flavours.. could be interesting

hype is the totally wrong word. hype is when you build up excitement for a non-event, like the American Superbowl. the real word is excitement! i for one am so excited there is at least one artist left in the psytrance scene who are pushing themselves and their equipment to their limits. they are taking a huge risk by doing something so ambitious as producing a live dvd with their own money and no commercial backing. is there anyone else out there so willing to put their money where their music is? i don't think so. seb and marcus's music represent the epitome of what this scene can be--emotional, original, personal, soulful--and it's produced at the highest professional level. to me that's worth getting excited about!
