What high level standards do you mean? I did the same thing and I was totally disapointed, I ve been in quite a few festivals in greece the past 5 years and I must say that except of the police everything else was great in festivals in greece, sun always shining, trees everywhere that you could just cool down (not like boom where trees were only a few), you were able to swim in somw nice clean water not like transit (spain) that you had to go to the local beach.
And it wasn't just samothraki that was in a great location, Sola Luna 2002 (another party with cops though) was in a forest on the beach under a great mountain.
and all other parties like the one in kaiyafa beach lsat summer, and the ones taking place this summer are all in wonderfull locations.
The only problem are the cops in Greece otherwise I think is one of the perfect locations for partying in europe |

i am not talking about my ass, i am just talking about high level standards.
Cause when there are 10,000-15,000 people staying for a week in festival with portable toilets the situation end up shitty. |

Yes but you find a toilet when you needed and
they clean more than three times the day
But you remember Samothraki the shit run our of they nest and make tour in the tents of some friends
Thats worst.
But they have create a city in the midle of nowhere and the prices for drinks and food was better than Greece and no cops was there.
The only better here is the places but this is not enough my friend.
I support my country and I want see something serius here but some facts are facts.
