yeah the ideas of using renewable energy sources, instead of the renewable ones, which the humankind is using in an excessive manner is a good idea.
solar energy, water energy, wind energy. nature gives it all. we dont have to stab it in the back for providing these gifts to us.

i feel that all the energy tapped by humans give some "heat" as byproduct .... hence we have the global warming ....
if that heat could be trapped and reused .....tat would be awesome ....
and we r not stabbing the nature in the back man......
the sun the air the wind , fire .....they r forces that no one can reckon with ...and
they r here as we know them is becuase some one long time ago already knew the law of conservation of energy ....before it was given... I'm tripping on this KILLER drug these days -HOOCH..... |

hows that happening binary_me. nature has already some sources that dont enhance the greenhouse effect which leads to global warming. if instead, because of the money slave industries and governments, and also the unknowledged individual consumers decide to use fossil fuels for energy, this is harming our planet. get my point?

yes i got ur point ...buts thats what i was talking about ....that whatever man creates heat escapes i.e in industires and stuff like that ....hence the global warming ...hence i thought if the heat is captured then it would be cool ....really "COOL"...

eh, not trying to get into the debate here. but just wanted to mention in 2002 i went to JMJ concert in Denmark, in the middle of windmill park, in-which the entire concert was powered by the windmills. It was neat!
now to the debate. nah...not gonna get involved. enjoy!

It's a small world after all. the world is changing on both parts of human fault and global change fault as well as the fault of actions happening in space, in-which may seem crazy, but lets not think we can see all colors and actions in-which exist. just as cats see black and white, we see multi colored...some of us, and our satellites may show us the things our eyes can only comprehend.
All in all, evolution is a happening which occurs all the time. The Earth itself is weak to small and large changes, everything leads to a domino effect, whether you see it or not. Humans have helped enhance global warming, in-which I believe is the beginning of the changing of the poles. Now some scientist will argue that, well, the changing of the poles includes massive weather pattern change, and volcanic activity. Now...how are we gonna get to that activity...through small baby steps. As we see, the weather pattern has become more active, which is actually normal if you look at the early dates which were recorded by naturalist a few centuries ago. Actually, the weather pattern we had from 1950-1990 was quite unusual..some environmentalist blame the usage of nuclear bombs. I say this is connected more towards the recent slow down of the spinning of the Earth, in-which recently has sped up.
While weather begins to become more active and strange, glaciers begin to melt, and animals begin to vanish, new-born illnesses introduce themselves out of the melted glaciers into the jetstreams, into birds, spreading from one place to another, into different forms.
The recent outbreak of SARS, and Bird Flu is only the beginning, bacteria in-which has been hibernatiing in the melting glaciers are only awakening.
Now not to go back to the reasons of the glaciers melting, but really its not only the recent weather patterns, theres so called hot beds under the artics that are spitting up more volcanic activity, this not only begins to melt the frozen, be begins to kill of the species of the oceans.
Lets take a look at the domino effect of the world now. What's causing these hot beds to heat up ? well the domino effect that is caused by one earthquake after another, in-which leads to the awakening of a volcanic eruption, in-which leads to changing weather patterns, and once again to more earthquakes to lead to another and to once again, volcanic activity.
No need to get into it all now. But thats just an overview of global warming. its not 100% humans, its not 100% Earth, its not 100% space. its simply a multi-task force thats cause such occurances. And you don't need to be a profession at the topic to connect the dots, just read lots of books, news articles.

2 things i'm reminded here of:
1) Isaac Asimov's brilliant book "The Last Question"
2) Dilbert where in one of the cartoons, he creates a toll-free number (with promise of free money), puts them all over town & hooks the phone to an energy convertor
