soft to mix on headphones... what u guys think?

like pom said, a few mixs on cans to get used... its probably easier to get a good feel for mixing on monitors but once its there you can mix on headphones, last track i did had to be mixed on headphones and did not turn worse then the ones i did before with the monitors. but monitors is more fun. but maybe diffrent people different ideas abt that

i never trust this kind of aplications
its almost impossible to be acurate in what they claim to be acurate, every room is a diferent story
the other similar aplications i tryed are not an advantage to mix, they only fool you making you think that you have things right, then when your going to check your sound in realistic way it tends to sound dry and tiny, because this plugins makes the overal output in your heaphones sound more "juicy" they add reverb to the mix alot and sometimes you want to ear it dry and make it juicy, not the oposite...
other thing i dont like its the way it makes low frequencies muddy
its way complicated to predict image of sound using plugins like this, every room a diferent story, every headphone is diferent, some more flat others dont...
dont trust anything else besides your monitors on a room that you know... besides that your wasting time with this |
