so i hear Nimbin  and Byron bay  are some of the most beautiful places in Australia, with the latter having the 2nd largest colony in the world? is that true? and if so where is it exactly?? it sounds fascinating  ive been onto oztrance, not much info, anywhere else? anyone?

its not so much byron bay, but the hills surrounding it....many hippy types living up there in small houses/villages and some even in self-sufficient communes

just the concept of self sufficient is so bizarre nowadays, dont u think? its totally against mainstream massmedia generalisations... i find it amazing that people can do that in this age... |

nimbin is the place!!!!
only place in the world that you can get dmt over the counter .... and smoke bongs on the street and ther is a big trance party after the mardygrass (1.2.3/5) and .....hippy's everywhere!!!!!

i only know about the shrooms. they put them in a little pouch and call it a "scent cushion" (Duftkissen in german). the word incense was wrong, maybe.
So officially, you are supposed to put "the scent cushion" somewhere in your room and let the scent eminate from the pouch. Obviously, it smells nasty, but the law doesn't care about that and this way the store can sell them legally.
Anyway, you buy the "scent cushion", open it, and eat the shrooms!!
i figure they do the same with the dmt.

oh ok, yeah 'incense' did thow me a bit... thats damn clever though, like stinky potpourri basically...thanks for clarifying aje 
u know over here i once came across a packet of veggie biltong, biltong is like dried meat sticks. but this guy had like a ton of this veggie biltong on him and was stopped at a road block. the cops didnt even look twice!

i am writting to you from byron bay but now it s not like two years ago.
the policeman are every where.in nimbin the police have not hte power but they are too.
but it s real there are alot of hippies and for the sunset you can stay on the baech and the hippies come for play percu etc... |
