I was actually hoping it might be good. Like for a car commercial or a multi-genre festival like Coachella.
But it's not.
Once they get over this phase and keep at it they might develop something. But right now seems like they're new at music and starting out, like new musicians - just imitating what they think works.

I prefer it much more to Infected as the singing in this is at least bearable. I'd go see this as a live electronica experience but definitely not expecting a psy trance act.
I am a huge Space Tribe fan, and found the ESP project quite intensely psychedeic. I lost a massive load of my Space Tribe music in a recent move (box of 200 CDs of psy/goa classics went missing - movers fault - I got insurance pay out but none of the music is easy or cheap to replace) so am planning to get the two Space Tribe Continuum collections instead
Might get Alien Jesus for some fun haha!

Yes the singing is bearable, and way better than infected.
It's the music, primarily, that needs work. I just don't understand how Ollie could have been so good at music before, and now he steps into this medium and seems to have lost all musical sensibility. But like I said, it may come with time if they keep at it. Like IM, they have yet to find their own voice (musically).

Yeah I think if they took it a bit seriously and maybe considered working as a band this could be a real commercial success.
They have a certain um new wave? sound to it IMHO. I think there is a spot for such a sound, especially with what I find to be very much psychedelic music, across the popular dance & general music community.
I've recently been listening to lots of what is termed "progressive" music this year (house, techno, IDM etc.) and find some of it to hinge much more on the true psychedelic spectrum of sound than say "dark" psy or "full on".
I like "dark" psy because of the energy and often industrial feel, it's kind of like a new breeding ground for chaotic industrial glitch music which suits an old industrial fan like me fine but it's never really seemed "psychedelic" to me except for some of the stuff early on in Stoneage, Discovalley & Parvati records.

So I read through the thread. Like most people I originally had great expectations when I saw who it was. And just like everybody else, I was let down by the result.
But here's something interesting. A new Space Tribe collaboration close to what we wanted to see.

Actually its not that bad.
Some days ago I did bad things, so I decided to punish myself. I recorded CDr with most annoying psy releases (Alien Jesus, gunslinger, new synsun, & few compilations of most annoying psy) I put it in my Cd player in the car for a long road.
I survived Alien Jesus, I survived Gunslinger, as well compilations with Azax, Painkiller, Cycle Sphere...
But I couldn' resist new Synsun, my teeth said no!
