Maybe it's only me, but so far and comparing to last few years- y2008 disappointed me.
My Ambient music folders are quite empty,
no big surprises, no texcitements. I'm still waitin for THE album that refuses to come
but yet again - maybe it's only me....:(

Hmm, I am at least really enjoying the Vataff Project album, which fits perfect to this time of the year

from this year,I enjoy in hol baumann,distant system....but yes,2008 is nothing in compare with 2007 or earlier.

Not my opinion, quite a good year so far, lots of great releases. Some positive surprises ( like the new Entheogenic album)

I don't think this year was very good either. Distant System, some of the Somnia releases, va - Ease Division 3, and Vataff Project..that's about it.

Mauxuam album, Hibernation album, Ease Division 3, Eat Static album, Future Memories and of course Ott had his album as well
that aside the new rumpistol album is amazing as well, the second cd on the minilogue album is pretty ambiental too...lots of good stuff outside the trance/chill out scene being released...I've had my share of good downbeat releases this year
