well, just came back from there.
I have a problem with skazi; I like few of his tracks, in 9 in the morning under the sky, but, not for home listening.
When I come to hear a trance set in a club, I want to hear diffrent music, that suits to the place and not the set I want to hear in a outdoor party. So I think, he could try and give some more sophisticated set than the usual "morning set".
About the set it self, Skazi knows how to Dj, I realy appreciate his mixer skils, but I think he try to much; The highlight of the set was a weird remix of some of his songs with GMS, this was realy irritating, he jumped from track to track, it was realy confusing and not fun!. I think every track is a story and need to build it self.
So, The night was realy fun, i Danced like hell (After all, Skazi still make me jump), and i hope that skazi will use is talent for good things.

but most of the parties in Haifa are in Clubs, and personally I can't stand clubs - therefore, i declare "Nature", as the capital of Trance

yeah it was a nice party
very nice faces inside but skazie's music 
like one long long track of 3 houres and some cuts in the middle!!
after skazi went some guy that gave a very nice set, progressive style with some native radio tracks and some more proggy stuff.
didnt expect more from it
all in all , was nice

Don't know, I had a few great nights at club parties. Some of them were even at that exact location (it was called the BioLab then).
I prefer nature, but have no big problem with a club (as long as it's not packed and not ventilated)
Anyone else been there? Where are all the florentin (technion) ppl ? Did they all leave Haifa for the summer??????

you came for a skazi set.
and you got a skazi set.
so why do you want him to give a more "sophisticated set" ?
this is his style for good or bad...
and all ppl know it.
p.s. - i love his music. but i hate clubs. and for sure his music is not for clubing.

Ananda,
Haifa is far away from being the "capital of trance". The partys are in clubs and usualy realy small (there was a trance night every Tuesday in the Florentin and in the Fourth night only 20-30 people came) and they are not often as it seem...(we just write about any tiny event here so it looks alot (:)
The capital of trance, without any doubt, is nature.
Lately, haifa shows more interest in the Trance scene, a thing that i realy like, but it has a long way to go if we want to be like other big cities in the world

Wako Jako, I want hin to give a more sophisticated set because what you wrote in the p.s : ...and for sure his music is not for clubing.
Now, i dont like clubs that much either, but when i do go to a club to hear trance, i want to hear other things, like what the Dinamo is doing for years.

hey,for sure everyone prefer nature but you can't go to a party in the nature every day.
the small trance clubs is on in the middle of the week.the flam on wednesday and the luna on thursday.nature parties usually take place on friday.
i gess if you go to a nice and small club it's for having a dring and a joint,shake the ass a little bit with some nice music and that's it,not to take lots of acid and cry "wish it was nature". i think it's nice to have a place close by to go and listen to some nice psy music in the mid-week.

miter man - a news flash - haifa has allways been and will allways be the capitol of trance.
the only problem in haifa is that u have to go real far in to nature in order to avoid the blues ( as far as zichron and the noether area ), and if u dont - the only option to nature r small unventilated dark clubs ( mey i remind that haifa started off as the capitol of alternative music - and the clubs were first built for that perpose ) - what makes haifa the capitol of trance are the ppl and the amount of events u can find every weekend ( about 3 partys per weekend ).
and chaka - no one left - were just a bit old and tyred (-;

yeah, shame all of the good spots near haifa have already been "burned"... The forests here have had some cool parties 3-4 years ago.
But the crowd in Haifa totally rocks. A lot of beautiful people, great vibes, and usually a very intelligent taste in music. Last few times I was at a Twins party, about half (or more) of the crowd was from Haifa.
