Am I the only one who doesn't use samples in his tracks?
It just feels better when you make something yourself, and not rip it from somewhere.

I use only samples from movies and stuff.
And sometimes percussion loops.

generally i'm with pavel--
tho occasionally i throw in something from distorted reality or whatever if it fits well ... but most of them are too overused and too complex to really fit, generally i have to mess them up a lot anyway so i didnt really save any time by using a sample cd!
btw about releasing remixes. in your eg, well, you'd have to contact prodigy's record company and ask if you were allowed and what % they demanded. most likely , unless you're an established artist, i expect they'd say no
