After the great success of the first Shpongle album here they come,Simon Posford and Raja Ram,to introduce us to one of the best chill out/ambient albums in the history of the electronic music scene.Lets explore this amazing piece of art.

Tracklist
01.Dorset perception
02.Star shpongled banner
03.A new way to say hoorey
04.Room 23
05.My head feels like a frisbee
06.Shpongleyes
07.Once upon the sea of blissful awareness
08.Around the world in a tea daze
09.Flute fruit

The album opens with a spanish traditional like track with nice percussions and amazing vocals, verry happy and very atmospheric,a unique track.Moving on to Star Shpongled Banner we meet some AMAZING vocals, this is very serious stuff guys, proffesional production and sounds make this track a perfect morning tune.Groovy, folklore and chill out at the same time, simply perfect. Then we have A New Way To Say Hoorey.Ok this track starts with an amazing vocal sample (yes again)and then it tranforms into an indian ballad. Some amazing backround melodies here and some very nice flute sounds.A track that will make you dream of different worlds.Next we come across Room 23,well here we have something like an African traditional song,i didnt liked it except that melody in the last seconds of the track, nothing more than that.Track number 5 is Latin rythm at its best, this one could be a big hit on the next Rio De Janeiro Carnival, happy tunes with trumpets, flutes and percussions, amazing melodies and rythm plus those lovely whistles on the backround.Next with Shpongleyes Simon and Raja Ram decide to lower the bpm. This is a very nice chill out track that advances and gets into something more groovy that will surely make you move,i guess its something like a chill out track moving into a breakbeat style.Very good track. The seventh track on this album is probably one of the best ambient tracks i have ever heard.Everything in it is just perfect and especially the woman's singing voice, amazingly clear voice.Perfect for your special morning moments, this is my favorite from this cd.Just before the end we have Around The World In A Tea Daze, some gypsy sounds here mixed with some oriental like sounds and amazing vocal samples. An average track i would say.Finnaly we have Flute Fruit,a perfect outro track using Raja Rams flute.Amazing end for an amazing cd.
This is a must cd for everyone, amazing production, sounds and atmosphere.Get your copy today guys as long as it is in stock.           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

NUMBER 2 for me!

the first one is truly psychedelic but i find the second album much more interesting and very rich in terms of music and emotions.

My head feels like a frisbee should have been the World cup's official anthem!!!!!!!

Indeed.
I think the second can be more "liked" by more ppl, even the ones who are not interested in psy music.

I mean, you can seriously play it everywhere, and ppl will like it (I tried this album on some "average" ppl, BTW).
