An epic album this one, more of a mature and wise journey into hZ, and still more in ya face humor which me like a lot..

(ooooohoooh, my grandmother would kill me) =)

Pardon my french, but it is more "world music" oriented yeah, but sure we are in shpongleland still.. (peoples, worldmusic might be the wierdest name for a genre of music ever)

I am not at all in the know, but my homegrown guess is that the sessionmusicians which are involved here did part in the musicwritings too,

Prepare for another reading of the shpongle story with this one, if you havent heard it yet!

Haille recommended!

It's also interesting to know that the indian singings were all live recorded in India by Simon himself..! So they're not just samples.

The only 'samples' in the album are the spoken ones. Except the one where Raja is rambling about his schooldays..

found a couple of typos in there though. and a bit confused about the whole batman influenced cello motif... sounded like it was the description for 'Invisible Man In A Fluorescent Suit' rather than 'Electroplasm'.

anyway, brilliant music! takes a proper listen, preferably while on a journey, to fully digest how they have once again evolved... can't skip through this one.

Found it cool that my new bro-in-law who is 17 has started going through my cd collection now that it's out of the moving box and on the shelves... he took this one last week amongst about 15 other psybient/chill cd's and said he found this one to be the best music he has ever heard, so gave him the other 3 Shpongle's to check out... nice to see a young person who is usually so pop music orientated expanding his music taste           I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!
