Hey people!

Should i continue to work or should i stop working(healthcare which makes me sick- hand eczema ) and get less money but be able to create music on full time! and probably get rid of the handeczema...

i got enough music equipment to make something serious...

but i need time to learn more about them, and time to practise instruments...

What should i do... work and buy more equipment, or settle with some cash
"unemployment benefit society (fund)"
and build a studio and just work hard with the music.

can you give me some advice, i really want to spend fulltime on music and i have lots of collaborations i can do if i get the time.. should i take the time?

i dont want to make music to get rich, i just want to feel free and feel that i do something meaningful, but not just for me... how can i make my music a benefit for others, cause deep inside i feel i want to help others.. but i dont know how i can do that with music as i have no education in it its hard to get a work as for example music therapist, or just be involved in some project that let others(kidz, old people) experience music and be apart of it...
and not just play old songs...

i think our society offers too little and is way to money driven...

sad shit indeed...

ideas please!

Keep working and do music as a hobby until you decide you make enough with it, or it keeps interesting enough to actually be worth living off of social benefit.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. Acidhive - i feel i dont get enough time to make music and collaborate(meaning some travling) and to practise enough when i work fulltime...

but you might have a point, still i feel its interesting enough to live from my social benefit, and i know that all i need is time, and my work is taking that time...

0v3rd0s3d - my hearth is telling me to stop working and start studying...

but of course its hard work to make good music, even bad music can be real hardwork... so ill still be working..

Do it.

Learn to cook lentil dall and rice and spend as much time as you can fiddling with your equipment.

Follow your heart, for sure! But consider this...being in the health care field, you could do MANY things! I'm a counselor for adults with developmental disabilities and have worked 2.5 day(straight) shifts that gave me the rest of the week off...lots of time to spend on music. But of course, who wouldn't want to stop working for 'others' and spend all their time on art?! If you can, then do it.           "Any act, if in accordance with the Will, is an act of Magick."

Don't do it unless you are sure you can survive on the music.. If you wanna have some more time for the music maybe u could work part-time?

i don't want to sound rude or anything, but how could anyone even ask themselves this question ?? I mean, unless BNE is trying to sign your new track for about 2000 EURO, how much money do you expect to make off music??

maybe if you are lucky 600 EURO per YEAR !! and that's if you are lucky and the labels don't screw you over 10 times.

dood, its good intentions, but just make music on the weekend           "VA - REWIRED" OUT NOW !! (techtrance invasion) ---> http://forum.isratrance.com/viewtopic.php/topic/86303/forum/9

Hey everyone!

Thanks for your input, i see its mixed.
Firstly i dont have no worries about money, i can survive on what i will get right now, if i would sacrifice my dreams and visions for the need of more money i would feel bad..

OTT - Thanks for telling me what i wanted to hear i will for sure do it, i been having these thoughts for a long time.

mukti777 - i dont think my race is done, i can get a job later on if i want to.. i got good merits.

Dennis the menace - yes its a option, but i think i need full concentration on music work. its not like ill be sitting infront of my computer all days, ill be playing drums/percussion, guitar, piano, record with others. so i need the time for it.

clown - you are asuming too much, i wont be doing much psytrance, and i wont be bombarding any labels with tracks. music is so much more to me than just psytrance and to release music.
If you want to earn money on music you have to do lots of stuff.
I aim to do lots of recording for others, and also make hiphop beats for some rappers, and so much more.

work will always be out there, its the society that is suffocating us, lots of our dilemmas is because of the society.... too much pressure to be something, the "time is money" thinking is also destructive.. to think takes time, but sometimes we dont allow us that time... im going to allow my self to think and create...

now im going to build a phat homestudio in my brothers apartment, cause he and his girl is moving so ill have it for my self...

and to add i have allready quited my job, i did it last Thursday, but i have allready been offerd a new job, to work with disabled kids, which i think could be real fun, but i want to do this right now... music that is.

Thats what I call guts. What a wonderful feeling. I hope to join your vision in a couple of years. I (feel) have to pay off my dept before I can do something as radical as that. So untill that is done. I'm all capetalistic But NES. I applaud your future. Good luck.
